Product Description
The CKE800-1F is a heavy-duty hydraulic crawler crane from Kobelco’s renowned CKE series, designed to handle challenging lifting operations with enhanced reach, precision, and safety. At the heart of the crane lies a Hino J08E-TM diesel engine, a water-cooled, turbocharged 6-cylinder unit that delivers 159 kW (213 hp) at 2000 rpm and complies with NRMM (Europe) Stage IIIA and US EPA Tier III emission standards. It includes an electric twist throttle, 24V starter system, and a 400-liter fuel tank for extended operation.
The crane’s main boom extends up to 54.9 meters, comprising a lattice construction using high-tensile tubular steel and modular pin connections. With the addition of a fixed jib, operators can reach up to 45.7 m boom + 18.3 m jib for an extended combination. Maximum lifting capacities include 80 metric tons at 3.0 m radius on the boom, and 6.6 tons at 20 m radius on the jib. Combined lifting (boom with jib) supports up to 31.9 tons at 6.8 m radius.
The crane utilizes a full-flow hydraulic control system powered by three variable displacement piston pumps, with pressure capabilities up to 31.9 MPa for the main circuits. It features a dual-drum hoisting system, with front and rear drums independently powered through planetary reducers and spring-set hydraulic brakes. The main and auxiliary winches offer a single-line pull of 78.5 kN and operate at speeds from 3 to 120 m/min.
For swinging, the crane is equipped with a hydraulic swing motor operating a 360° swing via spur gears and a planetary reducer. Swing speed is 4.0 rpm, and it features a spring-set hydraulic disc parking brake with manual locking for transport.
Crawler performance includes independent hydrostatic drive per track, supporting skid and counter-rotation steering. Crawler frames are retractable (for transport) and extendable (for lifting), with 800 mm wide track shoes, enabling a top travel speed of 1.9 km/h and a 40% gradeability.
With a fully enclosed, air-conditioned operator cab, the crane provides ergonomic controls, visual aids (rearview mirrors, drum cameras), and full instrumentation for safe and comfortable operation. Additional standard safety systems include load moment indicators, mechanical and electronic drum locks, swing and boom over-hoist prevention, and ultimate stop functions.
Operating weight is approximately 73.8 tons, with 25.7 tons of counterweights and a 6.7-ton carbody. The ground pressure is 88 kPa, ensuring a stable footprint during lifting.
The Kobelco CKE800-1F excels in mid-range heavy lifting, offering impressive boom combinations, modern hydraulic control, and crawler mobility, making it a top-tier solution for construction, industrial installation, and energy sector projects.
