Product Description

The SANY SCC9000 is a 700-ton class hydraulic crawler crane engineered for super heavy lifting in highly demanding construction environments such as petrochemical installations, wind farm developments, infrastructure megaprojects, and modular plant assembly. Designed for maximum flexibility and power, the SCC9000 offers one of the highest capacities in SANY’s crawler lineup, with advanced load moment systems, modular boom configurations, and modern hydraulic control architecture.

The crane’s main boom is a triangular space frame design, offering lengths from 30 meters to 120 meters. The boom sections include 12 m base, 6 m and 12 m mid sections, and a 10.5 m top section, with a maximum configuration of HJDB (heavy-duty main boom with superlift) reaching full extension under high load. The luffing jib (LJ) can be configured between 30 m and 96 m, and can be installed on a main boom ranging from 42 m to 96 m. With full superlift and counterweight setup, total lifting height and range can exceed 144 meters and 96 meters, respectively.

The crane is powered by a Cummins QSK23 water-cooled 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 597 kW at 2100 rpm, with peak torque of 3308 Nm at 1400 rpm. A 1200-liter diesel tank supports extended operational cycles. The hydraulic system is built around Bosch Rexroth closed-loop circuits, with load-sensing capabilities and high-efficiency electric proportional control valves to support precise, smooth, and energy-efficient operation. Multiple pumps control the winches, swing, and boom functions independently, allowing complex simultaneous operations.

The SCC9000 is equipped with dual main winches and auxiliary winches. Each hoisting system is driven by high-torque variable displacement motors and supports speeds of up to 130 m/min, depending on the reeving and load. The boom hoist winches are fully enclosed, offering clean rope layering and low maintenance. The crane’s swing system uses three motor-gearbox assemblies, providing 360° rotation at up to 1 rpm, with smooth acceleration and braking.

The crawler undercarriage consists of independently powered tracks with 2000 mm wide shoes and a variable track width. Travel speed ranges from 0 to 1.1 km/h (high) and 0 to 0.4 km/h (low), with 100% straight-line travel and 70% load-turning capability. The unit supports full self-assembly, with the boom, counterweights, jibs, and superlift components designed for transport in modular form using standard trailers.

Counterweight configuration includes:

  • 80 tons of central counterweight
  • 250 tons of rear counterweight
  • Up to 450 tons of superlift ballast

Standard safety systems include an advanced load moment limiter (LML) with real-time display of boom angle, load, radius, and height; anti-two-block protection, wind sensors, over-tilt alarms, wireless remote control, and a black box data recorder for operational history and diagnostics. The operator cab is pressurized, air-conditioned, tiltable by 20°, and equipped with wide-view windows and ergonomically arranged controls.

The SANY SCC9000 stands out not only for its 700-ton capacity but also its modular adaptability, efficient hydraulic design, and comprehensive safety and control systems—making it one of the most powerful and versatile crawler cranes in the heavy lifting industry.
