Indo Farm Power-12 AV

The Indo Farm Power-12 AV is designed to tackle mid-heavy lifting and material transport tasks with strength and precision. With a rated capacity of 12 tons at a 1.7-meter radius, it ensures reliable lifting even at extended reaches—handling up to 2.5 tons at 7.79 meters. The crane’s boom is a 3-part, box-type, telescopic structure operated hydraulically via dual-acting cylinders, providing a maximum vertical height of 11.1 meters.

Powering the crane is a robust Indo Farm 3052 DI, 3-cylinder, water-cooled diesel engine generating 50 HP at 2,200 rpm. Transmission is handled by a heavy-duty sliding mesh gearbox with eight forward and two reverse speeds, complete with high/low selector. This configuration delivers solid traction and supports a top speed of 30 km/h for efficient movement across job sites.

Articulated power steering, controlled by twin hydraulic cylinders, provides up to 53° of articulation and a minimum turning radius of 6.5 meters—ideal for tight industrial zones and project sites. Steering response time from lock-to-lock is between 6–9 seconds.

Lifting operations are powered by a heavy-duty hydraulic winch with a 4-fall hoist setup, rated for up to 10 tons. It features fail-safe braking, with line speeds reaching 55 m/min. Boom motion includes raising in 18–20 seconds, lowering in 13–15 seconds, and telescoping (in/out) in 19–21 seconds. A robust 880 mm stroke steering cylinder enhances ground control even in sandy or uneven terrain.

Braking systems include pneumatically assisted hydraulic drum brakes on the front wheels and mechanical disc brakes at the rear, supported by a mechanical parking brake. Tyre configuration includes four 11.00×20 – 16 PR tyres in front and two 13.00×24 – 12 PR tyres in the rear, supported by a heavy-duty full-length chassis and straight rear axle.

Hydraulic systems are powered by a vane/gear-type pump feeding a 4-spool control valve with integrated pressure relief. The suction and return lines are filtered via a 100-mesh inline strainer and a 25-micron full-flow filter respectively. Hydraulic fluid capacity is 130 liters, while fuel and engine oil capacities are 60 liters and 7.5 liters, respectively. The machine has an operating weight of 10,010 kg.

Safety features include an overload audio alarm, lock valves on lift cylinders, hoist safety brakes, and cylinder guards. Standard features include an all-weather operator cabin, front bumper, reflectors, rear-view mirror, and a full lighting system. Optional equipment includes air brakes, a spark arrester, fire extinguisher, six-fall rope, extra hooks, and a man basket.
