The Tadano GR-600XL-1 is a 60-ton class rough terrain crane equipped with a 42.0-meter telescopic boom and a maximum jib length of 17.7 meters. Powered by a robust Mitsubishi engine and featuring the AML-L load moment indicator, it delivers strong lifting capacity with excellent reach and safety.

Product Description
The Tadano GR-600XL-1 is a heavy-duty 60-ton (54.4 metric tons) hydraulic rough terrain crane built to handle complex lifting tasks in challenging environments. It features a five-section full-power synchronized telescoping boom constructed with round hexagonal box sections. The boom extends from 11.1 meters to a full 42.0 meters and is supported by a precise synchronization system and robust telescoping cylinders. For extended reach, it can be outfitted with a two-stage bi-fold lattice jib of 9.9 or 17.7 meters, allowing for tip heights up to approximately 59.7 meters with a maximum boom and jib combination.
This crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6M60-TLA3B turbocharged, after-cooled diesel engine producing 267 horsepower (200 kW) at 2,600 rpm and 579 ft-lb (80 kgm) of torque at 1,400 rpm. It features an automatic transmission with six forward and two reverse speeds and supports 4x4x4 drive and steering configurations. The GR-600XL-1 can achieve a travel speed of up to 39 km/h and maintains tight maneuverability with a turning radius of just 6.7 meters (4-wheel steering).
The hoisting system includes variable-speed main and auxiliary hoists, each with grooved drums and 3/4″ (19 mm) wire rope. The main winch provides a maximum line pull of 8,260 kg and a line speed up to 161 m/min. An auxiliary lifting sheave is included for lighter, single-line work.
The swing system, driven by a hydraulic axial piston motor, offers continuous 360° swing at 2.5 rpm and features a positive swing lock for stable pick-and-carry operations. The AML-L electronic load moment indicator system continuously monitors working conditions, including boom length, load radius, actual and rated loads, and outrigger positions, providing pre-warnings and automatic limits for safety.
Outriggers offer four independent extension positions with automatic capacity configuration, maximizing stability in confined job sites. With independently controlled outriggers and self-stowing pads, deployment is fast and secure.
In the operator’s cab, controls are intuitive with a high-back adjustable seat, pilot-assisted control levers, AML-L monitor display, power windows, and optional heating and air conditioning. The cab offers wide visibility through tinted safety glass, including roof and windshield wipers.
The Tadano GR-600XL-1 blends advanced control systems, lifting capability, and rugged engineering, making it a reliable choice for infrastructure, utility, industrial, and heavy construction applications where power and precision are paramount.
