Sany STB300T5

Product Description

The Sany STB300T5-1 represents Sany’s approach to versatile, mid-capacity telescopic crawler cranes tailored for demanding site conditions and precision lifting. With a maximum lifting capacity of 30 tonnes and a maximum lifting moment of 125 t·m, this crane is well-equipped for structural erection, modular installations, and utility construction where reach and reliability are key.

The crane features a five-section U-shaped main boom that extends hydraulically from 10.9 meters to 42.5 meters, providing excellent vertical and horizontal reach. The boom’s high-strength U-profile cross-section enhances stiffness and load-handling stability. When equipped with its 8-meter jib, the crane achieves even greater lifting height and flexibility in offset lifting scenarios. Boom luffing is possible between -2° and 78°, giving it a wide working angle range.

Under operating conditions, the crane’s hoisting speeds for both main and auxiliary winches reach up to 140 m/min, enabling rapid lifting cycles. Boom elevation/lowering times are 35/45 seconds, and full telescoping/retracting can be completed in 50 seconds each, reflecting strong cycle-time efficiency. The slewing system offers speeds up to 2.5 rpm, and travel speed is rated at 0–3.0 km/h, enabling fast repositioning on-site. These speeds are ideal for projects that require both mobility and high-frequency lifting.

The STB300T5-1 is powered by an ISUZU 4HK1XKSC diesel engine, outputting 133 kW at 2000 rpm. The engine is designed for fuel efficiency and durability under load, and it works in tandem with a load-sensing hydraulic system for smooth, precise operation across all functions.

Its crawler undercarriage provides strong off-road performance with a track gauge of 4872 mm and 700 mm wide track shoes, resulting in low ground pressure of 0.06 MPa—making it ideal for soft or uneven terrain. The crane is also capable of handling 45% grades, ensuring excellent climbing performance in sloped job sites.

From a transport standpoint, the crane’s transport dimensions are 13,408 mm (L) × 3,000 mm (W) × 3,188 mm (H), with a maximum single transport weight of 30 tonnes when counterweights, jibs, and hooks are removed. The total operating weight is 41 tonnes, including full rigging but excluding additional hook blocks and attachments.

For lifting lines, the STB300T5-1 uses Φ16 mm steel wire rope, and supports multiple reeving options for main and auxiliary lifting. The swing radius is tightly managed, with a minimum turning radius of 3703 mm, supporting use in confined spaces.

In summary, the Sany STB300T5-1 is a reliable, transport-efficient, and powerful telescopic crawler crane in the 30-ton class. Its 42.5 m boom, ISUZU engine, and intelligent hydraulic controls make it an ideal candidate for mid-rise structure assembly, utility work, and general construction lifting where both reach and terrain mobility are critical.
