XCMG XGTC60-AU 60 ton telescopic crawler crane with 46.5m main boom

Key Features & Benefits

The XCMG XGTC60-AU is a modern telescopic crawler crane engineered to combine the rapid deployment of telescopic boom cranes with the stability advantages of crawler-based machines. Developed primarily for demanding job sites such as civil construction, infrastructure projects, and industrial plant maintenance, the crane provides strong lifting performance while maintaining compact transport dimensions and excellent maneuverability on difficult terrain.

With a maximum rated lifting capacity of 60 tonnes and a maximum lifting moment of approximately 2,205 kN·m, the crane delivers solid performance across a wide working range. The telescopic boom consists of multiple sections with a base length of about 12 m and a fully extended length of 46.5 m, enabling the crane to handle various lifting tasks without the need for lattice boom assembly. For applications requiring additional reach or lifting height, the crane can be equipped with a fixed jib measuring either 9.5 m or 16 m, extending the maximum boom and jib combination to 62.5 m.

A key advantage of the XGTC60-AU is its crawler undercarriage, which provides superior stability and low ground pressure compared with wheeled cranes. The machine uses 760 mm wide crawler shoes, producing an average ground pressure of approximately 0.08 MPa, allowing the crane to operate efficiently on soft ground, uneven terrain, or confined construction areas where ground conditions may be challenging. This configuration also allows the crane to travel with a load under certain conditions, improving productivity on site.

The crane is powered by a Cummins B6.7 diesel engine rated at 209 kW at 2,200 rpm, meeting EU Stage V emission standards. This engine provides reliable power while maintaining low fuel consumption and reduced emissions, making the crane suitable for projects where environmental regulations and efficiency are important considerations.

Operational performance is supported by an advanced electro-hydraulic control system, which enables smooth and precise movements for lifting, slewing, telescoping, and travel functions. The crane features 360-degree continuous slewing, supported by a robust slewing bearing with controlled acceleration and deceleration to ensure stable operation during heavy lifts.

The operator cabin is designed with comfort and safety in mind. It features an air-conditioned tilt-up cab with wide visibility for improved monitoring of the working area. Ergonomic controls and modern electronic displays allow the operator to monitor crane parameters, lifting status, and system diagnostics in real time.

For stability during lifting operations, the crane is equipped with a counterweight system of up to approximately 19.5 tonnes, which can be installed using self-assembly functionality. This design allows easier transport and setup while maintaining the required stability for heavy lifting tasks.

Safety systems are integrated throughout the crane, including a load moment indicator, virtual wall function, camera monitoring systems, fault diagnostics, and interlock protection features. These systems help ensure safe crane operation and assist the operator in maintaining optimal lifting performance.

Overall, the XCMG XGTC60-AU telescopic crawler crane offers a versatile lifting solution that combines 60-tonne lifting capacity, a 46.5 m telescopic boom, optional jib extensions up to 62.5 m, crawler mobility, and modern electronic control systems. This combination makes the crane particularly well suited for civil construction, infrastructure works, industrial maintenance, and shutdown operations where mobility, stability, and rapid setup are critical factors.
