Product Description
The Potain MCT 138 H6 flat top tower crane is designed for medium-sized construction projects where space efficiency and high performance are essential. This crane boasts a maximum lifting capacity of 6 tonnes and can operate with a jib length of up to 60 meters. At the maximum radius, it is capable of lifting 1.5 tonnes, offering a wide working range suitable for various structural and concrete applications. The crane utilizes a 1.6 m x 1.6 m tower system, which allows for a free-standing height of up to 50.9 meters depending on the specific configuration.
The MCT 138 H6 is equipped with a 33 LVFC 15 hoisting winch, capable of lifting speeds ranging from 36 to 102 m/min, supporting a maximum rope capacity of 400 meters. This provides quick load cycles, crucial for time-sensitive operations. The crane also benefits from advanced slewing and trolley mechanisms for smooth, precise handling. It supports multiple configurations such as P16A and SB16A, offering flexibility in tower height and anchorage to suit different jobsite conditions.
With its flat top design, the MCT 138 H6 simplifies transport and assembly, reducing the time and space typically required for crane erection. The design also facilitates overlapping crane operations on congested sites, increasing productivity. This model aligns with FEM 1.001-A3 standards and features Potain’s commitment to reliability, safety, and performance across global construction markets.
