Potain Igo 30

The Potain Igo 30 is a compact, mobile self-erecting tower crane tailored for residential and small-scale commercial projects. With a maximum load capacity of 2,200 kg, it maintains robust performance across its full 30-meter maximum jib length, where it can still lift 900 kg at the tip. The crane offers flexible jib configurations and working ranges, with standard lengths of 28 m or 30 m, depending on site requirements.

Its design incorporates a compact 4.2 m x 4.2 m base, a folded transport length of approximately 15.8 meters, and an under-hook height of up to 23.5 meters in its flat jib configuration. The jib can also be luffed at 8° or 20° to maximize hook height or work around vertical obstructions, increasing the hook height to nearly 29.8 meters.

Equipped with the 10 LVF 11 Optima hoisting mechanism, the Igo 30 delivers speeds between 2.5 and 48 m/min, adjusting dynamically to load and operating conditions. Trolley motion is handled by the 2 DVF 4 system with variable speeds from 15 to 47 m/min, and slewing is powered by the RVF 31 Optima+, offering smooth rotation at speeds up to 0.8 rpm. All systems benefit from variable frequency drive (VFD) control, enhancing precision and energy efficiency.

The crane operates on 400V/50Hz or 480V/60Hz, drawing a total of 10 kVA, and includes SmartCom connectivity for remote diagnostics, safety management, and anti-collision support. It complies with EN 14439 C25-D25 / C50-D50 and FEM 1.001-A3, ensuring high structural integrity and global safety compliance.

Transport and deployment are simplified with optional trailer configurations and quick hydraulic setup. The Igo 30’s low total transport weight and modular counterweight system further reduce logistical constraints, making it ideal for contractors managing dynamic, space-constrained construction environments.
