Product Description

The Potain Igo M 14 is a compact and mobile self-erecting tower crane designed to meet the needs of small construction sites with limited space and frequent site changes. With a maximum capacity of 1,800 kg and a maximum jib length of 22 meters, this crane is well-suited for residential or light commercial construction tasks. At the tip of its reach, it can lift between 500 and 600 kg, depending on setup conditions and electrical input.

Its design features a 4 m x 4 m base and a mast height of 21.7 meters, allowing for effective lifting at multiple height levels while maintaining a small operational footprint. The jib can operate at either flat or inclined angles, with up to 20° pitch, which helps avoid obstacles or improve reach over the structure. Hook heights of over 19 meters are possible when configured with the flat jib setup.

The Igo M 14 is equipped with the 8 LVF 9 Optima hoist system, delivering speeds up to 39 m/min. Trolley speeds range from 14 to 28 m/min, and the crane slews at 0 to 1 rpm, all of which can be controlled via Potain’s SmartCom control system. The machine is capable of operating on 230V single-phase or 400V/480V three-phase power, offering great electrical adaptability, with total power demand ranging from 4.6 to 11 kVA, depending on the voltage and configuration.

One of the standout aspects of the Igo M 14 is its rapid deployment capability via a hydraulic erection system, and its transportability, which supports movement with full ballast onboard. Total transport weights range between 11.7 and 12.6 tonnes, and its design fits within the dimensions of a 40-foot high cube or open-top container for global shipping compatibility.

Compliant with EN 14439 C25-D25 / C50-D50 and FEM 1.001-A3, the Igo M 14 ensures both safety and performance in small to mid-scale construction projects. It’s particularly advantageous where site space and logistics demand minimal setup time and maneuverability, making it a preferred solution for builders handling varied short-term projects.
