Product Description
The Hitachi KH100-2 crawler crane is designed for efficient medium-duty lifting tasks, featuring a maximum rated load of 30,000 kg (66,100 lb) at a 3.0-meter working radius. The crane’s basic boom length starts at 10.0 meters (32’10”), and it can extend to a maximum length of 34 meters (111’7″), offering significant flexibility for various lifting operations. It is suitable for both urban and large construction sites due to its compact yet powerful design.
Equipped with a main hoist drum and an auxiliary hoist drum, both with a rope diameter of 22 mm (0.866″) and a drum capacity of 178 meters (584′), the KH100-2 provides robust hoisting capabilities. The main hoist drum has a line pull of 108 kN (11,000 kgf), delivering effective lifting performance at a speed of 34 m/min (112 ft/min). The hoisting line speed for the boom hoist drum is 60 m/min (197 ft/min), providing efficient and smooth boom operations.
The crane is fitted with hooks of varying capacities, including a 30,000 kg hook for the main boom, and smaller hooks of 15,000 kg and 5,000 kg for auxiliary jib configurations, allowing it to handle different loads effectively. The maximum line speed of the hoisting drum reaches 70 m/min (230 ft/min) in high-speed mode, offering fast and efficient lifting, while the lowering speed is 35 m/min (115 ft/min).
In terms of mobility, the KH100-2 boasts a travel speed of 1.4 km/h to 1.7 km/h, enabling it to move between job sites efficiently. The gradeability of 40% (22 degrees) allows the crane to work on sloped or uneven terrains without compromising stability.
With an operating weight of 33,100 kg (73,000 lb), which includes the basic boom and counterweight of 8,800 kg, the crane maintains a low ground pressure of 0.55 bar (0.55 kgf/cm²), making it suitable for work on various ground conditions. This robust crane is powered by a reliable hydraulic system, ensuring efficient operation across all tasks. Whether for medium-sized construction projects or industrial applications, the Hitachi KH100-2 offers a balance of strength, versatility, and mobility.
