Product Description

The IHI CCH2000 is a high-capacity, 200-ton crawler crane engineered for rigorous lifting demands in civil engineering, infrastructure development, and industrial construction. This fully hydraulic crane is capable of lifting 200 tons at a 5.2-meter working radius, with a strong and efficient hoisting system designed for maximum reliability and performance on-site.

The crane is fitted with a modular boom system that starts at 18 meters and extends to 72 meters using standard configurations. Additionally, it supports a jib extension of up to 37 meters, allowing a combined maximum reach of 109 meters. For specialized operations, the crane can also be configured with a lightweight boom from 72 to 93 meters.

The powertrain features a Cummins QSL9-3A engine—a turbocharged, intercooled 8.9-liter diesel unit producing 242 kW (329 PS) at 2000 rpm. The fuel tank holds 510 liters, providing extended runtime between refuels. The crane achieves a maximum winch speed of 120 meters/minute and boom hoisting at 34 meters/minute. Slewing speed is rated at 1.5 rpm, and travel speeds range between 0.6 to 0.9 km/h with gradeability of up to 30% (16.7°).

Rope configurations include:

  • Main hoist: 28 mm rope with 688 kN breaking strength, 400 m standard length
  • Boom hoist: 22.4 mm, 356 kN, 370 m
  • Boom support: 40 mm, 1360 kN
  • Jib-related ropes range from 28 to 34 mm in diameter with strengths between 585–1020 kN

Operational mass of the crane, with an 18-meter boom and 200-ton hook, is about 210 tons, and it applies an average ground pressure of 113 kPa (1.15 kgf/cm²). The counterweight system includes 92 tons of rear weight and 19 tons on the carbody. The CCH2000 supports a wide range of reeving configurations, including 16-part lines for maximum capacity and single-part for the auxiliary 13.5-ton hook.

The crane is also equipped to handle jib offsets from 10° to 30°, making it flexible for high-angle and up-and-over lifting. Safety features include load moment indicators, boom angle limiters, and winch monitoring systems to ensure reliable performance and safe lifting operations.

With its long reach, strong lifting power, and reliable hydraulic systems, the IHI CCH2000 remains a competitive choice for contractors and project managers seeking a heavy-lift crawler crane that performs consistently under tough site conditions.
