Product Description

The Kobelco 7065-2 is a 65-ton class hydraulic crawler crane built with a high-strength steel lattice boom system and heavy-duty undercarriage, designed for stable lifting in diverse site conditions. The crane achieves its maximum rated load of 65 tons at a 4.1-meter radius and supports a wide variety of boom and jib combinations to meet complex lifting demands.

The crane’s main boom can be configured from 9.1 meters up to a full 54.9 meters using multiple combinations of 3.0 m, 6.1 m, and 9.1 m boom sections. It supports jib lengths of 6.1 m, 12.2 m, or 18.3 m, with offset angles of 10° or 30°, enabling extended reach up to 45.7 m + 18.3 m when configured with both boom and jib. Additionally, the crane supports luffing tower jib configurations with tower lengths from 21.3 m to 42.7 m and jib lengths from 18.3 m to 30.5 m, allowing high-elevation hoisting in constrained urban or industrial environments.

The 7065-2 is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TE-1 engine producing 169 kW (230 PS) at 1800 rpm. It operates through a robust hydraulic system using axial piston pumps for main hoisting, swing, and boom functions, offering line speeds of up to 100 m/min. Slewing is supported at 3.5 rpm (free) or 1.5 rpm (braked), providing precise load placement.

Travel speed ranges between 1.75 and 1.1 km/h with a maximum gradeability of 40%, and the undercarriage uses wide crawler tracks for low ground pressure—74 to 79 kPa depending on configuration. The rated line pull is up to 167 kN, with standard 22 mm hoist rope on both main and auxiliary winches.

Depending on the setup, the working weight of the crane ranges from 64.6 to 69.2 tons, and it supports multiple hook configurations including 65t (5-sheave), 45t, 32t, 19t, and 6.6t ball hooks. Optional safety features include wind-speed alarms and anti-two block systems.
