Kobelco CKE700-1F

The Kobelco CKE700-1F crawler crane made its mark in the 70-ton class segment with a robust design tailored for general construction, infrastructure, and utility work. Its welded lattice boom is configurable from a minimal 9.1 meters to a maximum of 54.9 meters, and it supports fixed jib configurations such as 42.7 + 18.3 meters and 45.7 + 12.2 meters. When equipped with the jib, it provides a lifting capacity of 6.6 tons at 20.0 meters, while the boom alone offers a peak lifting capacity of 70 metric tons at 3.1 meters radius.

Under the hood, the crane is powered by a Hino J08E-TM turbocharged diesel engine, compliant with NRMM (Stage IIIA) and EPA Tier III emissions standards. This 7.684-liter engine delivers 159 kW at 2,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 797 Nm at 1,600 rpm. The hydraulic system utilizes three variable displacement piston pumps operating in closed-loop for smooth, responsive control of the hoists, swing, and travel systems. The CKE700-1F offers solid ground stability thanks to its wide 800 mm crawler shoes and a carbody that can hydraulically extend or retract for transportation. Its upper structure includes a spacious operator cab with full vision glazing, ergonomic controls, air conditioning, and a comprehensive safety suite—featuring boom over-hoist prevention, drum locks, swing brakes, and an LCD load moment indicator.

With a 22.6-ton counterweight and 3.1-ton carbody, the operating weight is approximately 67.1 tons. For ease of mobilization, the base transport weight is 41.2 tons including gantry, crawlers, and rope gear.
