Product Description
The SANY SCC3200A-9 is a high-performance 320-ton crawler crane designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern heavy lifting applications. It is built with versatility and operational efficiency in mind, capable of handling a wide range of configurations and work environments. The crane’s main boom extends from 20 to 86 meters, offering flexible lifting heights and reach, while the variable luffing jib configuration allows for a maximum combined length of 122 meters (62 meters main boom + 60 meters luffing jib). The main boom operates at a variable angle between 30° and 85°, and in the luffing configuration, the working angle range is 65° to 85°, allowing for precision positioning in congested or vertical work areas.
The crane’s maximum rated lifting moment is 1900 t·m, supported by a robust hoisting system with high-speed winches. The main and auxiliary hoisting winches provide a line speed of up to 132 m/min, while the luffing jib hoist reaches 136 m/min, enabling quick and efficient lifting cycles. Slewing speed is rated at 0–1.0 rpm with smooth control, and the travel speed is up to 1.0 km/h. It can navigate gradients up to 30%, thanks to a powerful travel system designed for mobility and stability on uneven terrain.
Powering the SCC3200A-9 is a Weichai WP10H-G336E470 engine—a 9.5-liter, inline 6-cylinder, turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine delivering 247 kW at 2000 rpm. It meets China’s Stage III emission standards and features a 600-liter fuel tank, providing long working durations with lower environmental impact. The engine is paired with a variable displacement hydraulic system that includes load-sensing valves and a main system pressure of 35 MPa, ensuring energy efficiency and responsive operation.
The crane incorporates a modern control system based on SANY’s SYIC-2.5 platform, which integrates operation logic, real-time diagnostics, remote monitoring, and intelligent feedback mechanisms. It also supports CAN-BUS communication for efficient system integration and includes safety features like automatic engine start-stop, overload alarms, winch overwrap protection, anti-collision radar, tilt warning systems, and a fault self-diagnosis module.
The lifting mechanism consists of dual planetary gear reducers and winch drums with diameters of 626 mm for the main system and 620 mm for the auxiliary and luffing systems, supporting rope lengths of up to 650 meters. The modular boom structure is composed of high-strength steel and reinforced joints, with a main boom base section of 20 meters, multiple middle sections of 9 meters, and specialized transition and tip sections for various configurations.
Transportability is a key design aspect. The crane’s maximum single component transport weight is 50 tons, and its transport dimensions are 14,600 × 3,000 × 3,400 mm, facilitating easier road and container shipping. The entire machine weighs approximately 271 tons, with counterweights including 40 tons on the turntable and 120 tons as the central counterweight.
The SCC3200A-9 also includes a well-designed cab with sound insulation, large visibility windows, air conditioning, and ergonomic controls, allowing for operator comfort during extended operation. Multiple hooks are available, ranging from 15 to 320 tons, catering to varied project needs.
Overall, the SANY SCC3200A-9 combines raw lifting power with intelligent systems, high structural integrity, and excellent adaptability, making it a reliable choice for power station construction, wind turbine erection, petrochemical installations, and other large-scale industrial applications.
