Product Description

The XCMG QUY1000 crawler crane is one of China’s most powerful and technologically advanced lifting solutions, designed to handle ultra-heavy lifting demands in industries such as petrochemical plant construction, nuclear power, coal chemical processing, and major infrastructure development. Engineered for performance, adaptability, and operational safety, the QUY1000 incorporates a multi-mode boom system, robust undercarriage, and intelligent controls.

The crane offers a standard maximum lifting capacity of 800 tons, which increases to 1000 tons when equipped with the superlift  configuration. It features a highly modular boom system. In standard operation, the heavy-duty main boom ranges from 30 to 96 meters, while the light-duty main boom can reach 114 meters. In superlift configuration, the heavy-duty boom extends from 42 to 120 meters, and the light-duty boom stretches up to 150 meters, offering unparalleled reach for lifting operations.

The luffing jib configuration can be mounted from 30 to 108 meters, while a dedicated 18-meter jib can be used for specialized tasks. The maximum lifting speed reaches 130 m/min, and the main boom luffing system operates at 53 m/min x2, supported by advanced planetary winch systems manufactured by Rexroth.

Driving the system is a Cummins 6-cylinder water-cooled turbocharged electronic injection diesel engine with 641 kW of power, ensuring ample torque for simultaneous multi-function operation. The closed-loop, variable hydraulic system with electric proportional control allows for smooth, accurate control of winches, swing, and travel mechanisms while offering energy savings and precision.

The QUY1000 uses a three-row roller slewing bearing system, allowing 360° rotation under full load with smooth hydraulic buffering and free swing functionality. Its undercarriage features 2-meter wide crawler shoes with dual drive motors per side, each equipped with imported planetary gearboxes for synchronized or independent control. Ground pressure is minimized for soft terrain, while the maximum single transport weight is 59 tons, facilitating modular transport logistics.

The crane’s safety and monitoring systems are comprehensive. It features a real-time moment limiter, height limiters, overload protection, wind speed sensors, and a large-color display in the operator cab to monitor load data, engine status, and environmental conditions. The cab is fully enclosed, air-conditioned, with tiltable viewing and a rotation feature to reduce transport width. All structural elements use high-tensile steel, including imported tubing for booms and luffing jib sections.

The counterweight configuration is massive:

  • 90 tons on carbody
  • 260 tons on the slewing platform
  • 460 tons of superlift counterweight on a mobile tray with a 24-meter adjustable radius

In conclusion, the XCMG QUY1000 is a premier solution in the ultra-heavy lift class, offering vast configuration flexibility, immense lifting power, and operator-centric technology. It’s ideally suited for tasks where high hook heights, long outreach, and extreme payloads are essential.
