Product Description

The QUY400 crawler crane from XCMG is engineered to deliver substantial lifting power with a maximum lifting capacity of 400 tonnes in SL (Superlift) configuration, or 380 tonnes with the heavy-duty boom in standard mode. This crane achieves an impressive maximum load moment of 5,152 tonne-metres, making it highly capable for power plant construction, petrochemical installations, and infrastructure megaprojects.

Its boom system is highly configurable. In standard operation, the heavy-duty boom ranges from 24 to 84 metres, while the light-duty boom can reach from 42 to 120 metres. A variety of jib options are available, including a tower jib with a 142-tonne capacity, fixed jibs (up to 80 tonnes), and special-purpose jibs (up to 79 tonnes). In SL mode, the crane supports longer boom configurations and increased lifting capacity, with the light boom stretching up to 120 metres and tower jib supporting up to 181 tonnes.

The main winch achieves a single-line hoisting speed of up to 130 m/min (unloaded, sixth layer), while the boom luffing system runs at 2×44 m/min. Jib and SL luffing winches deliver up to 110 m/min. The crane’s maximum slewing speed is 1.0 r/min, and the travel speed is also 1.0 km/h, allowing for safe maneuvering on job sites.

Powered by a 310 kW engine, the crane maintains a balance between high output and fuel efficiency. It operates on a hydraulic system with precise control and variable displacement pumps. Ground pressure is rated at 0.13 MPa, supporting stable operations even on soft or uneven terrain.

The crane’s operational range is further expanded by its ability to operate between a boom angle of -3° to 85°, and a 30% maximum climbing grade. For transport, the heaviest individual component weighs 55 tonnes, with transport dimensions of 10.36 × 3.4 × 3.0 metres for the main unit.

The XCMG QUY400 stands as a reliable and powerful solution for heavy-duty lifting tasks across a wide range of industries.
