Product Description
The XCMG XGC130 crawler crane is a robust, 130-ton capacity lifting machine designed for heavy-duty lifting performance and adaptability across complex job sites. It uses a full crawler undercarriage to maximize stability and site mobility, making it particularly effective on soft or uneven terrain where wheeled cranes would struggle.
The XGC130 is powered by a Cummins QSL9-C325 electronic diesel engine, delivering 242 kW at 2,100 rpm and 1,424 Nm of torque. Emission compliance aligns with European Construction Machinery Stage III standards, ensuring environmental performance alongside operational power. A variant engine listed in Chinese documentation outputs 206 kW at 2,200 rpm with a torque of 1,112 Nm, likely denoting market-specific configurations.
The crane is equipped with a PLC-based intelligent programmable control system, integrating logic control and electronic proportional hydraulics for smooth, responsive, and precise crane operation. The control system is displayed via a large screen interface, enabling effective human-machine interaction. Hydraulic functions are governed by a load-sensing proportional control system, using a combination of open and closed circuits, variable displacement pumps, and power-limiting logic. These allow for flow control independent of load, anti-saturation protection, and automatic power matching.
The main and auxiliary winches are independently driven and exchangeable, featuring integrated speed reducers, closed disc brakes with oil bath lubrication, and a max single line speed of 120 m/min. These winches are mounted with bolt and pin connections for reduced transport weight and improved maintenance access. The boom luffing system uses a twin-drum drive with ratchet locking and constant closed-disc braking for safe, reliable operation. Boom elevation is controlled via cylinders attached to the turntable tail.
The crane’s slewing system is positioned at the front of the turntable, using two planetary reducers meshed with a 3-row roller-type slewing ring. This setup offers smooth 360° rotation with hydraulic buffering and free-swing function, with braking managed by a constant closed disc system.
For lifting configuration, the main boom reaches up to 76 meters using modular sections (base boom, inserts, and top). The fixed jib attaches to the boom head and spans from 13 to 31 meters, with two offset angles (15° and 30°) to support varied applications. Combined configurations offer flexibility for lifting at height or over obstacles. A box-type mast with twin lifting cylinders supports boom assembly and stability during erection.
The operator’s cab is constructed from steel with sandwich-glass panels, offering wide visibility and comfort. It includes air conditioning, ergonomic controls, and a closed circuit monitoring system for real-time viewing of hoisting and luffing operations. The cab can rotate from the side to face forward to reduce transport width, and the internal display shows full operational parameters and warnings.
The XGC130 crawler system consists of two track frames with planetary gear reducers, powered by axial piston motors. The tracks are 1.0 meters wide, and the crawler frame features self-assembly/disassembly systems for boom, mast, and counterweights, improving transport logistics and setup time. Both crawler tracks can operate independently, allowing pivot turns and tight maneuverability.
The crane includes comprehensive safety features, such as:
- Load Moment Limiter (LMI)
- Boom angle limiter and backstop
- Main/auxiliary winch overwind and over-release protections
- Ratchet locking devices
- Emergency stop systems
- Tricolor warning lamp based on load
- Anemometer on the boom head
- Height warning lamp and seat switch interlock
- Audio/visual movement alarms
Optional accessories include 35t and 85t hook blocks, 1.2t auxiliary hooks, and self-assembly hydraulic cylinders for car-body and counterweight installation.
In conclusion, the XCMG XGC130 is a well-balanced crawler crane offering high capacity, modular boom flexibility, intelligent control, and field-friendly crawler mobility. It’s particularly suitable for foundation work, energy projects, and heavy industrial installations where ground conditions or space constraints require a stable and mobile lifting platform.
