Kato NK65M
The Kato NK-65M is a 4.9-ton hydraulic truck crane fitted on a general-purpose truck chassis, combining maneuverability, compactness, and lifting efficiency. With a 13.6-meter boom and 6-meter jib, it reaches a total height of 13.7 meters, ideal for urban and light industrial tasks.

Product Description
The Kato NK-65M was introduced as a more compact and flexible counterpart to the NK-65, offering a lifting capacity of 4.9 tons. It was developed specifically for mounting on standard commercial truck platforms with payload capacities in the 4 to 4.5-ton range, making it especially maneuverable and cost-effective for logistics, local contractors, and utility service providers.
Like its sibling, the NK-65M features a hydraulically operated 7.7-meter to 13.6-meter boom, extendable via a 6-meter jib for a total lifting height of 13.7 meters. This boom structure is built for balance and easy handling, ideal for urban sites where space is limited. The crane’s rooster sheave at the boom tip allows for flexible hoisting with two-line reeving where needed.
The NK-65M maintains high performance in its winching system, with main and auxiliary hoisting speeds reaching 70 m/min using a 10 mm x 110 m wire rope. The auxiliary hook operates on a single-part line. The boom elevates from 3° to 78° in about 21 seconds, and the slewing system allows smooth rotation at 2.8 rpm.
The cab design prioritizes operator visibility and comfort, with a wide front window, intuitive lever and switch layout, and optional features such as heaters. A hydraulic outrigger system offers quick and stable setup, supported by control valves that prevent overextension or operational errors.
Safety is emphasized with a full suite of devices including overhoist limiters, boom angle indicators, slewing locks, and oil pressure safeguards. Despite its compact form, the NK-65M retains the same operational safety standard found in larger cranes.
Designed to meet everyday lifting challenges with practicality and ease, the Kato NK-65M is well suited for fleet applications, rural work, or contractors needing a lightweight yet capable crane that integrates easily with existing commercial trucks.
