Product Description

The Link-Belt HTC-860 truck crane is a durable and versatile 60-ton capacity crane designed for on-road mobility and on-site lifting performance. It features a four-section, high-tensile link-belt boom ranging from 35 feet to 110 feet (10.67 to 33.53 meters). Constructed with high-strength steel and equipped with shear pads for both vertical and horizontal support, the boom ensures strength and longevity under demanding lift conditions. A manually attached 25-foot (7.62 m) swingaway jib is also available, offering offset positions of 15°, 17.5°, and 30°, extending lifting versatility.

Boom operation is controlled by dual hydraulic cylinders with integral holding valves, allowing elevation from -3° to 78°. A double-acting hydraulic boom hoist cylinder ensures smooth and controlled luffing, while optional fly attachments offer additional reach. The boom is equipped with diamond-shaped steel slide pads and wear shoes for structural stability, along with auxiliary and optional auxiliary sheaves for multiple line operation.

The cab features full environmental insulation, tinted safety glass, and ergonomic controls for winch, boom, swing, and optional boom hoist operations. Cab instrumentation includes dash-mounted hydraulic oil temperature, fuel, water temperature, and oil pressure gauges.

Swing motion is powered by a bi-directional hydraulic motor with two-stage planetary reduction, offering continuous 360° rotation at 2.45 rpm. The hydraulic system includes a three-section gear-type pump with a maximum pressure of 2,900 psi (203 kg/cm²), supporting simultaneous multi-function operation via six control valves.

The load hoist system includes a two-speed winch with automatic brake and a planetary gear reducer, offering line pulls up to 15,870 lbs (7,199 kg) and line speeds of 548 ft/min (167 m/min) on a 17-inch (0.43 m) drum.

Mounted on a rugged 8×4 Link-Belt carrier with a 228-inch (5.79 m) wheelbase, the HTC-860 offers excellent road performance. Its box-type frame is made of all-welded, high-strength alloy steel, and it includes a standard 1,000 lb (454 kg) bumper counterweight. Power is delivered through a Fuller Roadranger RTO-6613 13-speed transmission, and Sheppard rack-and-pinion steering provides a tight turning radius of just under 58 feet (17.61 m).

The outrigger system includes double-box vertical jack cylinders with integral holding valves and bubble indicators, offering a lifting radius of 20 feet (6.10 m) to 8 feet (2.44 m) centerline-to-centerline.

Standard features include an acoustically treated one-man cab, a full suite of instruments, vinyl covering, 22,400 BTU heater, 80-amp alternator, dual-beam lighting, warning systems, and optional enhancements such as block heaters, towing shackles, and air starters.

Built for rough terrain and road travel alike, the Link-Belt HTC-860 balances strength, simplicity, and field-proven technology to deliver reliable lifting for structural, utility, and infrastructure projects.
