Franna AT-15

The Franna AT-15 is a rugged and agile 15-ton pick-and-carry crane designed for all-terrain mobility and strong mid-range lifting performance. It boasts a rated capacity of 15 tonnes at a 1.6-meter radius and can handle 1 tonne at a 15.85-meter radius. The Rhino hook can be raised to a maximum height of 18.0 meters, supported by a 10.5-tonne lift hook block and 3.5-tonne single-line capacity.

The AT-15 is powered by a Hino H07D 6-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engine producing 141 kW (190 HP) at 2900 rpm and 492 Nm of torque at 1700 rpm. It is mated to an Allison AT 545 torque converter-driven 4-speed automatic transmission, and the drivetrain includes a Meritor T-226 two-speed transfer case with rear axle disconnect. The crane uses Spicer Series 1610 drive shafts and Meritor RS-26-160 (front) and RS-23-160 (rear) drive axles, both equipped with differential locks.

Its mobility is further supported by an 85 km/h top travel speed and 50% gradability. The AT-15 has a tight turning radius of just 6.2 meters, making it ideal for work in restricted or urban job sites. Axle loadings are 6,000 kg (front) and 10,000 kg (rear), contributing to a total machine weight of 16,000 kg.

Braking systems consist of full air-operated S-cam dual circuits with a spring-applied rear axle park brake and a front wheel crane operation hold brake. The suspension is designed for stability and ride quality using semi-elliptic springs on each axle with a torsion bar integrated into the front axle.

The hydraulic system is powered by a load-sensing axial piston pump with a flow rate of 130 liters/min and working pressure up to 210 bar. The two-speed hydraulic winch achieves rope speeds of up to 85 meters/min and provides a line pull of 3.5 tonnes on a full drum.

Standard equipment includes air conditioning, an 8-ton machinery hook, central greasing, and work lights. Optional attachments include a 2.6-meter fly jib, man basket, spreader bar, engine monitoring system, and spare wheel carrier.

The AT-15 features a two-person ROPS-type cab with full instrumentation, ensuring a safe and comfortable operator environment. With its balanced mix of power, reach, and on-road agility, the Franna AT-15 remains a go-to solution for lifting and material handling in demanding site conditions.
