Product Description
The Potain MR 295 H20 luffing jib crane is engineered to meet the demands of modern high-rise and confined construction environments where both lifting performance and spatial efficiency are crucial. With a maximum lifting capacity of 20 tonnes and the ability to operate with a jib length up to 60 meters, the MR 295 H20 provides robust lifting capabilities across a wide radius.
This crane excels in vertical construction and tight urban landscapes due to its compact slewing radius and optimum out-of-service positioning, minimizing interference with adjacent structures and equipment. Its luffing jib mechanism ensures flexible movement in constrained areas, enabling high-rise material handling with ease.
It is equipped with high-performance winch options, including the 100 LVF and 150/180 HPLTM GH, capable of delivering hoisting speeds up to 195 m/min, depending on the reeving configuration. These winches support hoisting heights over 1000 meters, and their operation is enhanced by Potain’s Power Control technology, which dynamically adjusts winch speed based on the available power supply.
The RVF 172 Optima+ slewing mechanism ensures smooth, responsive, and precise load orientation, while the luffing winch (100 VVF) manages the boom’s elevation in a controlled manner. Both slewing and luffing systems are engineered for precision in high-load operations.
The crane’s structural system supports various tower configurations, including the K 649, K 849, P 800B, and ZX 6830 masts, providing versatility in freestanding heights and anchored arrangements. The standard mast size is 2.45 m x 2.45 m, and transition sections allow integration with different tower systems. Modular design facilitates fast erection and dismantling, and all major components fit into standard high cube 40-foot containers or 20-foot flat racks, optimizing logistics.
At maximum radius (60 meters), the MR 295 H20 can still lift up to 2.7 tonnes, and it supports multiple load curve configurations, including 10 t, 15 t, and full 20 t modes. The structure adheres to FEM 1.001-A3 standards, ensuring robust structural integrity and safety compliance.
In summary, the Potain MR 295 H20 is a top-tier luffing crane solution offering high lifting capacity, adaptable configuration, and precise control. It is particularly well-suited for tall structure assembly, bridge projects, and city center development, where heavy lifting in limited space is paramount.
