Potain Igo 22

The Potain Igo 22 is a flexible and compact self-erecting tower crane engineered to meet the lifting needs of small to mid-sized construction sites. Offering a maximum lifting capacity of 1,800 kg, this crane is highly efficient across a range of working radii. At the maximum 28-meter reach, it can lift 850 kg, while at 26 meters, it handles 1,000 kg, making it suitable for lifting light structural materials, tools, and building components.

Its design features a base dimension of 3.6 m x 3.6 m and provides multiple configurations in hook height. The crane achieves an under-hook height of up to 19.3 meters in a horizontal jib setup and can go higher when the jib is inclined at 20°, offering nearly 26.5 to 27.6 meters of hook height depending on the configuration. This makes it adaptable to various site conditions and spatial constraints.

The Igo 22 is powered by the 8 LVF 9 Optima hoisting mechanism, capable of delivering hoisting speeds up to 39 m/min depending on the electrical input. The trolley system, 1 DVF 4, offers variable speeds between 14 and 36 m/min, and slewing is managed by the RVF 31 with a top rotation speed of 0.8 rpm, ensuring precise load placement and efficient movement.

Electrical power requirements are versatile: the crane can operate on 230V single-phase, or 400V/480V three-phase systems, with power consumption ranging from 4.6 to 11 kVA, depending on voltage and current configuration. It is also equipped with Potain’s SmartCom control system, and is compliant with EN 14439 (C25-D25, C50-D50) and FEM 1.001-A3, assuring adherence to modern safety and structural standards.

For transport and logistics, the Igo 22 fits within a 14.5-meter transport length, with total weights ranging between 13.6 to 14.7 tonnes based on the trailer type used. The hydraulic erection system enables quick and efficient setup without the need for auxiliary lifting machinery.
