Product Description
The Sumitomo SC8000, also referred to as CT15000, is a high-capacity crawler crane engineered for large-scale lifting applications, offering a maximum lifting capacity of 750 tons. The crane is designed with various boom configurations to suit different operational needs:
- Heavy Boom (H800): Basic length of 18.28 meters, extendable to 79.25 meters, with a lifting capacity of 750 tons at a 6-meter radius.
- Standard Boom (L300): With a basic length of 18.29 meters, extendable to 103.63 meters, providing versatile lifting capabilities for standard lifting operations with a maximum capacity of 250 tons.
- Light Boom (L300): Offering an extended reach of up to 103.63 meters, suitable for lighter lifting tasks while maintaining a 250-ton capacity.
- Luffing Jib Configuration: The crane can be fitted with a luffing jib extending from 32 meters up to a maximum length of 79.25 meters, allowing for a total length of up to 110 meters (30.48 + 79.25 meters).
The crane’s winch system is designed for efficiency, featuring dual speeds of 92/53 meters per minute for the main and auxiliary drums, and 84/41 meters per minute for the jib hoist. The SC8000 operates with a swing speed of 0.8 rpm, ensuring controlled and precise rotational movements during lifting.
Powering the SC8000 is a Cummins KTA19-C700 engine, which delivers 522 kW (710 PS) at 2,100 rpm. This robust diesel engine ensures sufficient power for the crane’s heavy-duty operations while offering fuel efficiency. The engine’s large 900-liter fuel tank supports extended operation times without frequent refueling.
The crane has a gradeability of 30%, enabling it to operate effectively on inclined surfaces. The travel speed is adjustable, with high mode reaching 0.6 km/h and low mode at 0.3 km/h, suitable for maneuvering on construction sites. The ground contact pressure varies depending on the configuration, providing stability and safe operation.
Overall, the Sumitomo SC8000 is a versatile and powerful crawler crane ideal for demanding lifting projects. Its multiple boom configurations, powerful engine, and advanced lifting capabilities make it suitable for large-scale construction, industrial lifting, and infrastructure development tasks.
