Product Description
The LR 1350/1-LN from Liebherr is a powerful crawler crane introduced with a focus on high-capacity lifting and operational versatility. It boasts a maximum lifting capacity of 350 tons and operates on a robust crawler track system, which provides excellent ground stability and mobility on uneven terrains. Each crawler carrier is equipped with either one or two drive motors (option), offering tractive forces of up to 3060 kN, depending on configuration.
The crane is powered by a 6-cylinder Liebherr D926 TI-E A4 diesel engine delivering 270 kW (367 HP) at 1900 rpm, with a torque rating of 1580 Nm between 1200–1600 rpm. Its hydraulic system utilizes six axial piston pumps with regulators for precise and responsive control of crane functions. The fuel tank holds 1200 liters, enabling extended operation without frequent refueling.
The crane’s upper structure includes a slewing platform mounted on a triple-row slewing ring, capable of 360° rotation. The boom systems are modular and varied: the L-type main boom extends from 18 to 120 meters, the LL-type from 24 to 108 meters, and the N-type luffing jib ranges from 18 to 84 meters. The D-type derrick boom is 27 meters long. These allow a wide array of boom-jib combinations, making it suitable for complex lifting scenarios. The boom and jib structures use high-strength steel box-type lattice construction, ensuring both lightness and strength.
It features multiple winch systems—standard hoisting winches (Winch 1 and optional Winch 2), a boom hoist winch (Winch 4), and additional optional winches (Winch 3 for main boom and derrick operation, and Winch 5 for jib luffing). The winches are driven by hydraulic motors with planetary gear reduction and integrated spring-set brakes. Hoisting speeds can reach up to 160 m/min with line pulls as high as 160 kN.
The crane can be fitted with various counterweight configurations. The standard slewing platform counterweight reaches 125 tons, extendable with additional slabs. For applications requiring greater radius stability, B-type floating ballast or BW-type trailer ballast systems are available, each supporting up to 200 tons of counterweight, with adjustable radius up to 15 meters.
The operator’s cab is a steel-framed, tiltable unit mounted on the slewing platform, optionally equipped with heating and air conditioning. Control is managed via servo-synchronized joysticks and levers, offering intuitive and smooth operation. Safety is reinforced with systems like overload prevention (LICCON), anti-two-block systems, electronic inclination meters, and hydraulic safety valves.
In terms of transportability, the crane is designed for ease of disassembly and logistics. The boom and jib sections are modular, and optional hydraulic systems assist in self-assembly of key components such as winches and counterweights.
Overall, the Liebherr LR 1350/1-LN is engineered for heavy-duty lifting applications in construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects, combining raw power, configuration flexibility, and advanced safety and control technologies.
