Product Description
The SANY SCC19800TM crawler crane is purpose-built for demanding heavy lift applications, particularly in wind turbine erection (up to 12–15 MW class), modular construction, and large-scale industrial installations. It is rated with a maximum lifting capacity of 1250 tons and reaches a maximum lifting moment of 19,800 t·m, making it one of the most capable cranes in its class.
The crane supports multiple configurations, with the main boom extending from 54 to 108 meters. For high-elevation lifting scenarios, the luffing jib can be configured from 36 to 96 meters. This enables a maximum combined boom+jib length of 96+96 meters, ideal for lifting large components at significant height and outreach. The design supports optimized configurations for both standard and wind power applications, enhancing job site versatility.
The SCC19800TM features a slewing-type superlift counterweight system, which enhances lifting capacity at long radii. The superlift counterweight totals up to 720 tons, with a variable radius between 24 and 36 meters. The mast and counterweight tray are self-assembling, significantly reducing the time and auxiliary equipment needed for setup.
Powering the crane is a dual-engine system consisting of two Cummins QSK19 Tier 3 engines, each delivering 597 kW at 2100 rpm for a total of nearly 1200 kW. This setup ensures continuous high-power output across lifting and traveling operations. The hydraulic system is fully load-sensing, enabling smooth, precise, and energy-efficient movements of the boom, winches, and slew system.
The winches deliver line speeds up to 120 m/min, supporting quick lifts and drops for high-rise applications. The slewing speed is 0.8 rpm, and the travel speed reaches up to 1.0 km/h—standard for large crawler cranes. With wide 1500 mm track shoes and a long crawler base, the crane achieves excellent ground stability and low ground pressure (approx. 0.13 MPa), allowing work on a wide range of site conditions.
Transportability is also a highlight of the SCC19800TM. The crane is modularized for efficient disassembly and shipment. The maximum weight of individual transport units remains under 45 tons, facilitating domestic and international logistics. Quick-connect components and hydraulic assembly aids reduce on-site setup time.
The operator’s cab offers wide-angle visibility, climate control, ergonomic seating, and dual-screen displays for monitoring lift data, system diagnostics, and real-time performance indicators. The crane includes an intelligent safety system with load moment limiting (LMI), swing and height limiters, anti-two-block, and remote fault diagnosis, ensuring safe and controlled operation.
Overall, the SANY SCC19800TM delivers high-capacity lifting in a flexible, transportable, and efficient package. Its balanced performance and adaptability make it an excellent solution for large wind turbine erection, high-load lifts in modular construction, and major infrastructure builds.
