Product Description
The Sumitomo SC650-2 crawler crane is rated at 65 tons at a 4.0 m radius and is available in both standard and short boom configurations. The standard boom starts at 12.20 m and extends up to a maximum length of 54.85 m, while the short boom version ranges from 9.65 m to 43.20 m. Both boom types support a jib extension from 9.15 m to 18.30 m, allowing maximum reach flexibility. The combined maximum boom and jib configurations can reach 45.70 m + 13.70 m for standard boom and 40.15 m + 18.30 m for the short boom.
The front and rear drum lifting/lowering speed is rated at 95 m/min with a 2-ton line pull. The boom hoist winch operates at 62 m/min at a line pull of 3 tons. Slewing speed is 3.4 rpm, and there’s an optional reduced slewing mode of 3.4/1.0 rpm for more precise movement. Traveling speed is 1.6 km/h with a gradeability of 40% (22° slope).
The crane is powered by a Hino H07CT diesel engine, producing 132.4 kW (180 PS) at 2,100 min⁻¹, ensuring solid and efficient performance for jobsite duties. The SC650-2 features a ground pressure of 73.7 kPa (0.75 kgf/cm²) with 810 mm shoes and has a total operating weight of 66.7 tons in its standard boom configuration.
The hook block options include a 65-ton main hook (5 sheaves, 850 kg), 35-ton hook (3 sheaves, 500 kg), 20-ton hook (1 sheave, 400 kg), and a 6.5-ton auxiliary hook (330 kg). The rope reeving system supports from 1 to 10 parts of line, enabling a range of lifting capacities from 6.5 tons up to 65 tons.
The SC650-2 combines lifting power, durable crawler mobility, and operational safety—making it a dependable solution for infrastructure, foundation, and general construction works.
