Product Description
The Zoomlion QUY350 crawler crane stands in the high-capacity category with a rated lifting capability of 350 tonnes. It is engineered for performance in large-scale industrial construction, such as energy plants, bridges, and wind turbine installation. Its main boom spans from 24 to 96 meters in a lattice configuration, allowing for extended height operations, while the luffing jib ranges from 24 to 84 meters. These components can be combined for complex lift scenarios, enabling a maximum combination of 72 meters boom with 84 meters luffing jib.
The QUY350 is driven by a Cummins QSM11-C400 diesel engine delivering 298 kW at 1,800 rpm. This robust engine powers a dual-circuit hydraulic system with variable-displacement piston pumps and load-sensing control, enabling efficient, multi-function operation. The hydraulic system ensures smooth response during compound actions like hoisting and slewing.
Hoisting operations are carried out by high-capacity winches. Both the main and auxiliary winches provide line speeds of up to 120 meters per minute with a 20 mm diameter rope, offering fast lifting and lowering cycles. The swing system achieves speeds up to 2.0 rpm with smooth and stable rotation. Travel mechanisms, featuring dual independent track drives with planet gearboxes and automatic braking systems, allow a top speed of 1.0 km/h and a 30% climbing gradient.
Safety is a key aspect of the QUY350, which is equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronic safety features. These include a load moment indicator (LMI), boom angle sensors, over-hoist and over-lowering limiters, wind-speed indicators, and alarms for engine and hydraulic system performance.
The crane’s undercarriage uses a retractable crawler frame for transport and jobsite adaptability, expanding to 8.4 meters wide when deployed. With a total operating weight exceeding 300 tonnes (including counterweights), it uses a 105-ton counterweight on the upper structure and 40-ton carbody counterweights for stability during extreme lifts.
Operator comfort is supported with a spacious cab featuring an air-suspended seat, large visibility windows, climate control, and a multi-functional LCD interface that monitors operational parameters. The cab is mounted on a vibration-isolated platform to reduce fatigue during long working hours.
The Zoomlion QUY350 is a high-performance crawler crane built for major lifting challenges, delivering stability, reach, and versatility in complex project environments.
