Product Description

The Kobelco RK250-7 is a high-performance 25-ton rough terrain crane tailored for both urban and industrial lifting tasks. It features a maximum lifting capacity of 25 tons at a 3.5-meter radius and offers a main boom length from 7.35 meters to 30.62 meters. A maximum working radius of 28.2 meters and optional twist jib configurations (5.8, 8.9, and 12.0 meters) allow the crane to reach up to 43.2 meters in height, significantly expanding its operational envelope.

Powering the RK250-7 is a HINO J08E-TM engine, a 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with intercooler, producing 209 kW at 2,100 rpm and delivering a peak torque of 998 Nm. It is mated to a hydrostatic CVT transmission, providing full-time 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering for enhanced maneuverability. The maximum travel speed is 49 km/h, and it can handle grades of up to 50% in low gear. The crane rides on large 385/95 R25 tires and uses a hydro-pneumatic suspension system for stable performance on uneven terrain.

Crane functions are supported by a hydraulic system with multiple variable displacement plunger and gear pumps, and it houses a 410-liter hydraulic oil tank. The telescopic boom utilizes a box-type, six-section structure with a sophisticated hydraulic and rope combination system for efficient extension and retraction. Winches are powered via planetary gear reductions and offer line speeds up to 122 m/min.

The RK250-7 includes safety systems such as moment limiters, swing and overhoist prevention, a working range limiter, and auxiliary hoist camera, providing enhanced operational awareness. With multiple outrigger configurations—H-type and X-type—extending from 2.12 m to 6.3 m, the crane adapts to varying jobsite constraints. Additional features like tilt-type jibs, auxiliary sheave, and centralized greasing enhance usability and serviceability.

The RK250-7 combines lifting performance with efficient transport and mobility, meeting the demands of compact urban construction and heavy-duty industrial applications.
