Key Features & Benefits
The SANY SRC250C rough terrain crane is a 25-ton class lifting machine engineered for versatile applications on challenging job sites. Built with a robust carrier frame using high-strength fine grain steel, the SRC250C integrates a four-wheel drive system combined with full hydraulic power steering. Operators can select among front, rear, four-wheel coordinated, and crab steering modes, offering superior maneuverability and a minimum turning radius of just 5.5 meters.
Under the hood, the SRC250C is powered by an inline six-cylinder, water-cooled, turbocharged and inter-cooled diesel engine producing 154 kW at 2200 rpm, with maximum torque of 800 Nm at 1400 rpm. This engine meets China Stage III emission standards, emphasizing both environmental compliance and fuel efficiency. Coupled with a six-speed transmission system that includes both manual and automatic modes, the crane achieves a maximum travel speed of 40 km/h and can handle grades up to 55%, making it suitable for varied terrain conditions.
The crane’s superstructure features a four-section telescopic boom constructed from high-strength steel with an optimized U-shaped cross section. The boom extends from 9.9 meters to 31.5 meters, offering smooth operation via double-cylinder rope-controlled telescopic action. Adding the optional 12.5-meter jib extends the maximum working height to 45 meters. The jib offers offset positions of 5°, 24°, and 45°, enhancing operational flexibility.
Hydraulic performance is a highlight of the SRC250C. It uses a load-sensitive variable displacement piston pump that adjusts displacement in real-time, achieving precise flow control and minimizing energy loss. The system includes flow compensation and load feedback on the main valve, ensuring stable control whether performing single or combined actions. The main and auxiliary winches each deliver maximum single rope speeds up to 125 m/min, utilizing electronically controlled variable motors and high-strength, anti-twist 16 mm diameter steel wire rope (175 m and 105 m rope lengths, respectively).
Slewing is driven by a hydraulic-controlled system equipped with an integrated slewing buffer valve and free slipping function, achieving maximum slewing speeds of 2.5 rpm. This setup provides precise, smooth control and excellent micro-mobility.
Safety and operator protection are central to the design. The SRC250C incorporates a highly intelligent load moment limiter with 0–10% rated lifting accuracy via real-time calibration. This system, combined with multiple sensors—including anemometers and pressure sensors at the boom head—monitors operational conditions and provides alarms or automatic action cut-offs in dangerous scenarios. Additional safety features include over-hoist and over-roll-out limiters on the winches, boom angle limiters, hydraulic safety valves, and redundant braking systems.
Operator comfort is ensured by an ergonomically designed cab featuring panoramic windows, sliding door, air conditioning, adjustable seating, and integrated display systems. The CAN-bus control system provides centralized, real-time machine diagnostics and engine fault monitoring, improving operational reliability and maintenance convenience.
The outrigger system features an H-type structure with four-point support, extending up to 6.7 m longitudinally and 6.5 m transversely, ensuring excellent lifting stability. Each outrigger is equipped with dual-direction hydraulic locks, and the system is engineered for quick deployment and retraction.
With a compact overall length of 12.155 meters, width of 2.620 meters, and height of 3.6 meters, combined with a minimum ground clearance of 350 mm, the SANY SRC250C offers both transport efficiency and dependable site performance. Built with durability, safety, and modern control technology at its core, the SRC250C is well-suited to a wide range of lifting operations in construction, energy, and industrial sectors.
