Product Description
The Tadano GR-600N-2 is a versatile and powerful rough terrain crane that elevates the standards in its class. Built on a newly developed 4-axle carrier, this crane significantly reduces axle load compared to previous 2-axle models, making it easier to obtain road permits and expanding the accessible routes for travel. This setup also reduces structural stress on bridges and road surfaces, allowing smoother operation in urban and infrastructure-heavy environments.
At the core of its lifting performance is a newly engineered high-strength round boom, extending from 9.8 meters to a full 44.0 meters. The boom supports a maximum lifting height of 45.2 meters. The crane is equipped with the SACO (Self-Assembly Compact Operation) jib system, extending from 8.0 to 12.7 meters, achieving a total maximum lifting height of 58.0 meters. The jib can be offset from 5° to 60°, offering flexibility for lifting over structures or in confined spaces.
Performance-wise, the GR-600N-2 boasts a maximum lifting radius of 40 meters in front-facing configurations and offers a boom performance comparable to 70-ton class cranes. The full boom maximum capacity has been increased from 7.5 to 8.0 tons. Tadano’s latest AML (Automatic Moment Limiter) system enhances safety and operational ease by optimizing hydraulic pump output and improving visual control for the operator.
For working in narrow spaces or confined jobsites, the full-auto jib can be deployed rapidly with minimal clearance. The crane is fitted with two-directional wide-angle boom tip cameras and high-visibility LED lights to improve safety during boom extension.
The GR-600N-2 also includes practical features such as aluminum outrigger mats, flat fenders, toolboxes, and ladder storage. A newly developed high-rigidity frame boosts structural strength, ensuring stable operation even under high loads. Environmental considerations are met with a low-emission engine compliant with Japan’s 2006 diesel regulations, alongside lower noise output and reduced CO₂ emissions.
Overall, the GR-600N-2 combines Tadano’s proven engineering with next-generation performance, providing exceptional lifting strength, ease of mobility, and enhanced operator safety for both urban and remote terrain applications.
