Product Description
The Tadano TR-200M-3 is a 20-ton class rough terrain crane designed for versatile lifting operations on demanding job sites. It features a 4-section hydraulically telescoping boom ranging from 8.35 meters to 26.5 meters, with synchronized extension stages to ensure smooth boom deployment. The maximum lifting height with the boom is 26.5 meters, and with the optional 7.5-meter jib, the crane can reach up to 34.4 meters tip height.
The crane has a maximum working radius of 24 meters with the boom and 28.5 meters with the jib. The jib itself is a single-stage swing-around type, stowed alongside the boom, and offers dual offset positions of 5° and 30° for improved operational flexibility. A single top sheave is also provided for light-duty lifting.
The TR-200M-3 comes equipped with high-performance winches driven by hydraulic motors through spur gear reducers. Both the main and auxiliary winches are fitted with free-fall devices and automatic brakes with foot brake backup. The main winch achieves high-range hoisting speeds up to 108 m/min (4th layer), with a hook speed of 15.4 m/min at 7-part line configuration.
Swing operations are powered by a hydraulic motor-driven planetary gear reducer, providing smooth 360-degree continuous rotation at 3.0 rpm. Boom elevation ranges from 0° to 80°, with rapid elevation and lowering speeds (0° to 80° in 38 seconds).
Outriggers are fully hydraulic X-type with independently operated slides and jacks. Maximum outrigger span is 5.7 meters fully extended, with a maximum outrigger load of 21.4 tons, providing excellent stability.
The hydraulic system employs variable piston and gear pumps, delivering reliable flow to hoist, swing, and boom systems. Hydraulic oil tank capacity is 370 liters.
Safety features include an automatic moment limiter (AML-US), over-winding cutout, working area control device, load and level gauges, winch drum lock, hydraulic safety valves, swing lock, and counterbalance valves for both boom and elevation functions.
The operator’s cab is equipped with a heater (with defroster), reclining seat with headrest and seat belt, radio, fan, and ergonomic control layout for comfortable long-shift operation.
The TR-200M-3 uses durable, spin-resistant wire ropes on both the main and auxiliary winches, with a breaking strength of 17.6 tons.
All told, the Tadano TR-200M-3 offers a compact yet powerful lifting solution, delivering reliability, smooth hydraulic operation, and solid performance in a range of lifting tasks on rough terrain sites.
