Tadano TR-200M-5
The Tadano TR-200M-5 is a 20-ton class rough terrain crane equipped with a 6-section telescopic boom and a 3.8-meter jib. Powered by a HINO turbo diesel engine, it combines compact design, excellent reach, and dependable hydraulic performance, making it ideal for tight and variable job sites.

Product Description
The Tadano TR-200M-5 is a compact yet powerful 20-ton (20,000 kg) rough terrain crane designed to operate efficiently in confined construction environments. It is built around a 6-section hydraulically telescoping boom with a reach from 7.0 meters to 30.5 meters, and a telescoping speed of 23.5 meters in just 86 seconds. The boom operates through a combination of hydraulic cylinders and wire rope mechanisms for synchronized motion, supported by box-structure construction for durability and strength.
For additional reach and versatility, the TR-200M-5 is equipped with a 3.8-meter jib, with triple offset settings of 5°, 25°, and 45°, and a maximum lifting height of 35.1 meters when fully extended. The maximum working radius is 28.0 meters (boom only) or 27.9 meters with the jib deployed. A single top sheave allows for lighter-duty lifting, rated at 3.5 tons.
The hoisting system features dual winches (main and auxiliary), each driven by hydraulic motors with spur gear reducers and equipped with free-fall devices. The main winch supports a maximum line speed of 110 m/min, while the auxiliary winch reaches up to 90 m/min, utilizing spin-resistant 16 mm wire ropes.
Powering the crane is a HINO H07C-TF, a 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 162 kW (220 PS) at 2,800 rpm and 657 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm. This engine is paired with a power-shift transmission offering 4 forward and 1 reverse speed (with hi/lo settings) and selectable 2WD/4WD for enhanced off-road mobility. Top travel speed is 49 km/h, and the machine features hydropneumatic suspension with hydraulic lock, supporting ride stability during lifting and travel.
Control is handled via hydraulic pilot valves, and the crane includes an extensive array of safety features: automatic moment limiter (AML), swing stop device, overwinding prevention, outrigger width detector, boom counterbalance valves, and jack pilot check valves.
The outriggers are of the fully hydraulic X-type, offering multiple extension widths: 6.0m (fully), 5.6m/4.7m (middle), and 3.6m (minimum), with independent jack controls. The gross vehicle weight is 23,495 kg, with balanced front (12,020 kg) and rear (11,475 kg) axle loads.
The operator’s cab includes an adjustable seat, A/C, radio, visual winch drum indicators, and intuitive pedal layouts. The TR-200M-5 is compact at 8,990 mm long, 2,490 mm wide, and 3,410 mm high, with a minimum turning radius of 4.8 meters in 4-wheel steering.
Overall, the Tadano TR-200M-5 offers the lifting power and reliability needed in mid-range rough terrain applications, while retaining compact dimensions and smart control systems for easy deployment in constrained and off-road work zones.
