Product Description
The Tadano TR-250M-6 is a 25-ton class rough terrain crane engineered for versatile on- and off-road lifting applications. The crane features a 4-section box-type telescopic boom, extending from 9.5 m to 30.5 m, and supported by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder with pressure-compensated flow control. A quick-mount jib of 8.0 m or 13.0 m is available, increasing the maximum lifting height up to 44.2 m with a working radius of 35.0 m.
Lifting capacity includes 25,000 kg at 3.5 m radius (8-part line) on the main boom, and 3,000 kg at 72° on the 8.0 m jib, with a single top capacity of 3,500 kg. Boom elevation ranges from 0° to 83°, with a raise speed of 45 seconds. Slewing is 360° continuous at 2.6 rpm, powered by a hydraulic motor with a planetary reducer and negative brake.
The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D16 turbo diesel engine, producing 250 PS at 2,800 rpm and 72 kg·m of torque at 1,400 rpm. The drivetrain includes both manual and automatic transmissions with 4 forward and 1 reverse speed, operating in either 2WD or 4WD modes. Axle configurations support off-road performance with hydropneumatic suspension and lock cylinders on both axles.
Travel capabilities include a top speed of 49 km/h, gradeability of 57%, and minimum turning radius of 5.0 m (4-wheel steering), or 8.4 m with 2-wheel steering. The fully hydraulic X-type outriggers have four extension settings from 6.3 m to 3.6 m, each with independently operated jacks for rapid deployment and solid ground contact.
The hoisting system features dual winches (main and auxiliary), each delivering a speed of 120 m/min (4th layer), with wire rope dimensions of 16 mm × 170 m (main) and 16 mm × 98 m (auxiliary). The hydraulic system includes 2 piston pumps and 2 gear pumps, feeding into a 380-liter hydraulic tank.
The operator cabin is a one-man type with a fully adjustable foldable seat, ergonomic controls, power windows, adjustable steering, air conditioning, and optional features like TV monitor and electric mirror. Safety equipment includes AML (Automatic Moment Limiter), swing lock, winch drum lock, over-winding cutout, level gauges, and rear wheel steering lock devices.
With a compact overall length of 11.13 m and width of 2.62 m, the TR-250M-6 is easy to maneuver in tight areas, while still delivering strong lifting power. Its GVW is 26,495 kg, split evenly between front and rear axles, supported by 385/95R25 tires front and rear.
This crane is an excellent choice for mid-size lifting needs where space, mobility, and performance are equally critical.
