Product Description
The Terex RT 775 is a high-capacity 75-ton (68.2 metric ton) rough terrain crane designed for heavy lifting in construction, energy, and industrial applications. It features a strong, 4-section full power boom built from high-strength steel with four-plate welded construction. This boom provides a maximum reach of 126 feet (38.4 meters) and is supported by a single hoist cylinder that allows boom elevation from –4° to 78°, facilitating close radius operations and simplifying reeving changes.
For extended reach, the crane can be fitted with a swing-on jib that offers up to 57 feet (17.3 meters) of additional length and can be offset at 0°, 15°, or 30°, achieving a total tip height of approximately 134 feet (40.8 meters).
At its core, the RT 775 is powered by a Cummins QSB5.9 diesel engine generating 275 horsepower (205 kW), paired with a full power-shift transmission offering 6 forward and 6 reverse speeds. This configuration enables a top speed of 25 mph (40.8 km/h) and excellent gradability. The 4x4x4 drive configuration, along with hydraulic power steering and multiple steering modes (2-wheel, 4-wheel, crab), ensures agility on rugged job sites.
The crane is fitted with two-speed main and auxiliary winches capable of line speeds up to 489 ft/min (149 m/min) and line pulls of up to 18,450 lbs (8,369 kg). These winches are designed for power up and down operation and feature automatic brakes and electronic drum rotation indicators for safety.
Its hydraulic system is powered by three gear-type pumps providing a combined capacity of 120 gpm (455 lpm), with a hydraulic oil reservoir of 174 gallons (674 liters). The outrigger system is fully independent, allowing for multiple extension positions—fully extended (24 ft/7.32 m), half-extended, or fully retracted—to adapt to site constraints.
Operator comfort is ensured through an environmental cab with optimal visibility, acoustic insulation, a deluxe adjustable seat, and joystick controls integrated into the armrests. Instrumentation includes air pressure, fuel, engine oil pressure, and full Rated Capacity Indicator (RCI) data with audible and visual alerts. Additional safety systems include a 360° mechanical house lock, anti-two block system, and a full suite of cab-mounted circuit breakers and lighting.
With excellent mobility, strong lifting charts, and rugged construction, the Terex RT 775 is built to handle heavy-duty applications with confidence and precision.
