Demag AC900

The Demag AC 900 is a high-capacity all terrain crane developed for heavy lifting tasks and large-scale construction projects. With a rated lifting capacity of 300 tonnes, it is mounted on a robust 9-axle chassis that provides excellent weight distribution and stability during operations. The crane features a 4-section main telescopic boom, with lengths ranging from 25 to 52 meters, supported by a Superlift system to significantly enhance its lifting capability and radius performance.

In its transport configuration, the AC 900 has an overall length of 18,000 mm, width of approximately 3,000 mm, and a height of 3,467 mm. The axle layout includes 9 axles, designed for optimal maneuverability and distribution of load across road surfaces. Key measurements between axles vary from 1,500 to 1,850 mm, with an extended rear overhang to accommodate counterweight and boom components.

The lifting chart for the crane shows exceptional performance under 75% and 85% stability conditions with Superlift. At a 25-meter boom length and 6-meter radius, it can lift up to 142 tonnes. Even at a 52-meter boom length and a 16-meter working radius, the crane can lift 36 tonnes at 85% stability. These figures highlight the crane’s strong load chart and excellent reach.

The crane is operated via advanced hydraulic and electronic control systems that ensure smooth boom extension, swing, and hoisting. It is capable of executing precise lifts at extended radii and elevated working heights, making it a favored choice for power plant construction, infrastructure development, and large modular assembly.
