Product Description

The SANY SAC2200C is an advanced all-terrain crane engineered for heavy-duty lifting tasks across construction, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With a rated lifting capacity of 220 tons, this crane combines high lifting performance with outstanding mobility and operational safety.

At the heart of the SAC2200C is its powerful inline eight-cylinder, water-cooled, supercharged diesel engine producing 392 kW at 2100 rpm, compliant with Euro III emission standards. This engine drives a robust hydraulic system, which includes electric proportional variable piston pumps and dual-pump converging/diversion main valves. This setup achieves fast working speeds and efficient energy use, with a maximum single rope lifting speed of 130 m/min on both main and auxiliary winches.

The crane features a seven-section telescopic boom made of fine-grain high-strength steel with a U-shaped cross section. The boom extends from a base length of 13.8 meters to a full extension of 73 meters. When paired with a 30.5-meter jib, the maximum lifting height reaches 103.5 meters. The jib uses an automatic infinite luffing system ranging from 0° to 40°, ensuring high operational flexibility for different lifting scenarios.

Its carrier is a five-axle chassis designed and manufactured by SANY with an anti-torsion box structure for high load-bearing strength. Four axles are driven (10×8 drive/steer configuration), and steering modes include six options such as road running, crab, and full-wheel steering, enhancing maneuverability in tight spaces. Suspension is provided by oil-gas adjustable units with ±150 mm height variation, allowing smooth travel on varied surfaces.

The crane measures 15.816 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 4 meters in height, with an overall weight of approximately 54,980 kg. Axle loads are balanced across five axles to comply with transport regulations and ensure road safety. The crane offers a top travel speed of 80 km/h, a minimum turning radius of 10 meters, and a gradeability of 40%.

Safety and operational systems are robust and advanced. The crane includes SANY’s proprietary SYMC load moment limiter with ±3% rated hoisting accuracy, real-time data monitoring, and alarm systems for overload and unsafe conditions. Additional safety devices include hook and boom height limiters, anti-rollover systems, voice alarms, ABS, wind-speed detection via boom-mounted anemometer, and hydraulic safety components such as balance valves and two-way locks.

Operator comfort and visibility are enhanced through a cab designed with panoramic sunroof, adjustable seats, integrated air conditioning and heating, and an ergonomic layout. Digital interfaces consolidate the load moment limiter and operational displays for ease of control and monitoring.

Counterweights are modular, with combinations ranging from 0 to 76.6 tons, allowing configuration flexibility according to job demands and transport restrictions. The boom and jib also incorporate self-assembly/disassembly features to improve transport efficiency and site deployment times.

Overall, the SAC2200C combines a long boom length, high lifting capacities, modern hydraulic and control systems, and comprehensive safety and operator-focused features. This makes it a strong choice for contractors seeking reliable performance on complex and large-scale lifting projects.
