Product Description
The SAC2600T represents SANY’s entry in the 260-ton all-terrain crane segment, developed to offer higher lifting moment and reinforced structural performance compared with the 220-ton class while retaining similar transport dimensions. According to the technical specification sheet shown in the provided documentation, the crane has a maximum rated lifting capacity of 260 tonnes and achieves a maximum lifting moment of 7,800 kN·m on the basic boom.
The main boom consists of seven sections fabricated from high-strength structural steel with a U-shaped cross section. The basic boom length is 13.8 m and extends hydraulically to 73 m, providing a maximum main boom lifting height of approximately 73.5 m. With the installation of the lattice jib, the maximum boom and jib combination reaches 105 m. The jib lengths available include 12.2 m, 22 m, 29 m, 36 m, and up to 43 m, with offset angles adjustable between 0° and 40°. This configuration allows a maximum lifting height of approximately 110.5 m when equipped with the longest jib.
The crane’s working speed parameters show a maximum single-line hoisting speed of 130 m/min for both main and auxiliary winches under no-load conditions, and 45 m/min under full load. The wire rope diameter for both winches is 22 mm, with rope lengths of 340 m for the main winch and 280 m for the auxiliary winch. Maximum single-line pull is 10.5 tonnes. The boom telescoping time is approximately 660 seconds for full extension or retraction, while boom luffing time is 60 seconds for raising and 90 seconds for lowering. Slewing is 360° continuous with a maximum slewing speed of 1.5 r/min.
The superstructure hydraulic system adopts electro-proportional control with variable displacement piston pumps and closed-loop slewing control. A dual-pump confluence/diversion main valve improves efficiency in single operations and stability during combined movements. The hydraulic oil tank capacity is approximately 900 liters. The crane is equipped with SANY’s load moment limiter system based on an analytical lifting mechanics model, with rated load accuracy within ±5% after calibration. Safety systems include hydraulic balance valves, overflow valves, dual-direction hydraulic locks, three-wrap protection devices for both winches, boom and jib head height limiters, and a wind speed indicator at the boom tip.
The counterweight system is modular, with combinations from 0 t up to 84 t according to the specification table, allowing adaptation to various working conditions. The outrigger system adopts an H-type layout with a longitudinal span of 8.5 m and transverse span of 8.3 m, featuring full hydraulic extension and automatic leveling capability to ensure stability during heavy lifts.
The carrier is a 5-axle chassis with a 10×8 wheel configuration. The overall dimensions are approximately 15,720 mm in length, 3,000 mm in width, and 4,000 mm in height. Total vehicle mass is 60,000 kg, with axle loads of 12,000 kg per axle. The minimum turning radius is 9.5 m, and the minimum ground clearance is 325 mm. Approach and departure angles are 19° and 16° respectively, supporting off-road performance. Maximum travel speed reaches 81 km/h, and maximum gradeability is 58%, enabling both highway mobility and strong jobsite accessibility.
Power is supplied by a Mercedes-Benz OM460LA.E3B inline six-cylinder diesel engine delivering 360 kW at 1,800 rpm and 2,200 N·m of torque at 1,300 rpm. The engine complies with China Stage V emission standards. The transmission is a 12-forward, 2-reverse automatic gearbox providing a wide ratio range for both low-speed maneuvering and highway travel. Fuel tank capacity is 500 liters.
The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with safety glass, corrosion-resistant steel panels, panoramic skylight, adjustable suspension seat, air conditioning for heating and cooling, and integrated monitoring display. The control system uses PLC logic with electro-hydraulic proportional joysticks, providing precise micro-movement and smooth multi-function coordination.
Overall, the SANY SAC2600T combines a 260-ton rated capacity, 7,800 kN·m lifting moment, 73 m main boom, 43 m maximum jib, and a 5-axle 10×8 carrier configuration. It is engineered for demanding lifting operations in bridge construction, petrochemical installation, heavy industrial assembly, and wind power auxiliary works where higher lifting moment and extended reach are required while maintaining road mobility.
