Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 Crawler Crane Load Chart

Product Description

The Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 sets a new global benchmark for 275-ton class crawler cranes, combining high lifting capacity with advanced technological features. It boasts robust winch drums capable of handling intense lift/cycle and luffing tower crane operations. The maximum lifting capacity is a formidable 275 tons at a 4.3-meter radius for lift crane applications and 80 tons at a 9.3-meter radius for luffing jib applications.

Engineered for rapid assembly and disassembly, it employs a “quick draw” system that simplifies the self-assembly process, alongside a “hook-on” design for easy side frame assembly. This reduces the setup time significantly, making it more cost-effective and less labor-intensive for various construction projects.

Transportability is another key advantage of the SCX2800-2, with a compact base unit designed for ease of transportation and a counterweight system that allows for horizontal splitting, reducing disassembly/assembly time. Furthermore, it includes environmentally considerate features such as a low emission engine that meets the stringent EU Stage 3 regulations, showcasing the crane’s minimal environmental impact.

In terms of operator comfort, the SCX2800-2 features a spacious cab with excellent visibility and an easy-to-use control system. Safety is paramount with an array of features like Load Moment Indicators (LMI) and foolproof shut-off systems to ensure safe operation even in the most demanding environments.

With its power, precision, and ease of operation, the SCX2800-2 stands out as a superior machine capable of meeting the diverse and demanding needs of modern construction, making it a valuable asset for any heavy lifting and construction task .
