The Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 is a 280-ton class crawler crane that marks its place in Europe with its first appearance on the test pad at Oosterhout in the Netherlands. A successor to the SCX2500, it made its initial debut at the 2006 Paris Intermat show. Product Description
The Hitachi Sumitomo SCX2800-2 sets a new global benchmark for 275-ton class crawler cranes, combining high lifting capacity with advanced technological features. It boasts robust winch drums capable of handling intense lift/cycle and luffing tower crane operations. The maximum lifting capacity is a formidable 275 tons at a 4.3-meter radius for lift crane applications and 80 tons at a 9.3-meter radius for luffing jib applications.
Engineered for rapid assembly and disassembly, it employs a “quick draw” system that simplifies the self-assembly process, alongside a “hook-on” design for easy side frame assembly. This reduces the setup time significantly, making it more cost-effective and less labor-intensive for various construction projects.
