Product Description

The Kobelco 7090-1F is a high-performance 90-ton crawler crane designed for heavy lifting in industrial, infrastructure, and energy sectors. Its main boom, made from welded high-tensile tubular steel, reaches up to 62.6 meters, offering exceptional reach and capacity. The crane can be configured with a fixed jib up to 21.3 meters, achieving a combined reach of 74.7 meters. A tower jib setup allows for a further extended combination of 44.3 meters (tower) + 37.1 meters (jib), reaching 81.4 meters for vertical lifting.

At its core is a Hino P11C-UN diesel engine, delivering 247 kW at 2,000 rpm and complying with NRMM (Stage IIIA) and EPA Tier III standards. The engine supports a high-efficiency hydraulic system powered by four variable-displacement piston pumps that provide responsive operation across hoisting, swinging, boom elevation, and travel systems. The maximum hydraulic pressure is 31.9 MPa for hoist and travel, and 27.5 MPa for the swing system.

The crane’s hoisting system features a maximum single-line speed of 120 m/min and a rated line pull of 108 kN using 26 mm diameter wire rope. It includes two main hoist drums (front and rear) and an auxiliary drum, all equipped with spring-set, hydraulically released negative brakes for safety. Optional positive free-fall brakes can be fitted for specialized applications.

Mobility on site is ensured by hydraulically driven crawler tracks with independently controlled drives and sealed rollers. The crane travels at up to 1.4 km/h with a maximum gradeability of 30%. The track system includes 59 shoes per crawler side, each 900 mm wide, which delivers ground pressure of 93 kPa in crane boom configuration.

The cab features ergonomic design with a fully adjustable high-back seat, large viewing windows including a skylight, and operator amenities such as air conditioning, a cup holder, and a storage compartment. Controls consist of four levers for winch and swing functions, and a twist-grip electric throttle.

Weighing approximately 91 tons in crane boom configuration (or 99 tons with tower jib), the 7090-1F includes a 32.8-ton counterweight (or 34.3 tons for tower jib configuration). It features a 400-liter fuel tank and a 535-liter hydraulic oil tank, ensuring long-duty operation without frequent servicing.

Altogether, the Kobelco 7090-1F is a versatile and powerful lifting solution, combining heavy-duty capabilities with flexible configurations to meet the most challenging demands in today’s construction landscape.
