Product Description
The Kobelco BMS800 is an 80-ton class crawler crane built to deliver dependable performance across a wide range of lifting applications. With a maximum boom length of 54.9 meters and a rated lifting capacity of 80 tons at 3.6 meters, this crane offers excellent reach and strength for medium-to-large scale projects. It is powered by a HINO P11C-VH engine that produces 271 kW at 1,850 rpm, providing ample power for both lifting and mobility.
The BMS800 utilizes a three-pump variable displacement hydraulic system, ensuring efficient and precise control of hoisting, propelling, and swing functions. The swing system features a hydraulic motor driving spur gears, allowing smooth 360-degree continuous rotation. Hoisting is powered by high-capacity winches with a maximum hoisting speed of 120 m/min and a line pull of 108 kN.
Designed with operator comfort in mind, the cab is fully enclosed, providing safety glass protection, a high-backed seat with headrest, air conditioning, and an ergonomic layout for all control interfaces. The crane’s undercarriage incorporates hydraulically extendable crawler assemblies with sealed track rollers, providing both stability and ease of transport.
The structural components of the BMS800 are crafted with welded lattice sections of high-tensile tubular steel, ensuring durability and reduced weight. Additional features include an external ratchet for locking the drum, efficient braking systems for the swing and hoist mechanisms, and counterweight options that enhance stability and safety during heavy lifts.
This crane is ideal for projects requiring steady, controlled lifts, such as foundation work, industrial plant assembly, and infrastructure projects where reliability and operator safety are paramount.
