Product Description
The Kobelco CKE1800-1F crawler crane represents the blend of power, precision, and versatility in the 180-ton lifting class. Rated with a maximum lifting capacity of 180 metric tons at a 3.75-meter working radius, this crane can be configured with multiple boom and jib setups to tackle a wide variety of jobsites. The crane’s standard heavy-duty boom configuration provides up to 12.2 meters of boom length with the full 180-ton lifting capacity, while its standard crane boom extends from 15.2 meters to an impressive 85.3 meters, enabling operations on large-scale projects with high reach requirements.
For specialized applications, the CKE1800-1F offers a luffing boom system with a maximum boom length of 54.9 meters, which can be combined with a luffing jib up to 51.8 meters, yielding a maximum combination length of over 106 meters. The fixed jib option provides additional flexibility with a maximum combination of 73.2 meters of boom and a 30.5-meter jib.
The crane is powered by a Hino P11C-UN water-cooled, direct fuel injection diesel engine with a turbocharger, producing 247 kW at 2000 rpm and 1300 Nm of torque at 1500 rpm. The hydraulic system is designed for reliability and precision, featuring four variable displacement piston pumps delivering maximum pressures of up to 31.9 MPa for the load hoist, boom hoist, and propel systems. Each crawler side frame houses an independent hydraulic propel drive, providing excellent maneuverability and control on site, with a maximum travel speed of 1.1 km/h and gradeability of 30%.
The crane’s robust lower structure includes sealed track rollers and wide 1070 mm crawler shoes, supporting a substantial counterweight system totaling 80 tons (60 tons upper and 20 tons lower). The operator cab is fully enclosed with safety glass, ergonomically designed controls, air conditioning, and modern instrumentation, ensuring operator comfort and precise handling in tough environments. The upper structure features a torsion-free, precision-machined frame with quiet operation that meets stringent European noise regulations.
Designed with smooth, reliable hoisting and slewing functions, the crane achieves main winch speeds of up to 100 meters per minute on the first drum layer, and swing speeds of 2.6 rpm. The integrated safety systems include load indicators, hoist limiters, swing lock mechanisms, and counter-balance valves to ensure stable and secure lifting performance. Built for efficient transport and assembly, the Kobelco CKE1800-1F incorporates design features like telescopic boom backstops, quick-disconnect crawler assemblies, and self-removal devices, providing flexibility and ease of mobilization from project to project.
In summary, the Kobelco CKE1800-1F offers exceptional lifting power, advanced hydraulic control, and proven durability, making it a reliable choice for demanding projects in heavy construction, infrastructure, and industrial applications.
