Product Description
The Kobelco CKS2500 is a powerful crawler crane designed to handle demanding lifting tasks in large construction and industrial projects. Rated with a maximum lifting capacity of 250 tons at 4.6 meters, the crane offers exceptional flexibility with its boom and jib configurations. Its welded lattice construction boom can extend from 15.2 meters to 91.4 meters, while its fixed jib can be combined up to 76.2 meters with a 30.5-meter jib for greater reach, or it can be configured with a luffing jib system that supports combinations up to 61 meters for both boom and jib, enabling superior operational flexibility on site.
Driven by a robust HINO P11C-VH engine that delivers 271 kW at 1850 rpm, the crane is equipped with four variable displacement piston pumps providing up to 31.9 MPa of pressure, ensuring smooth, efficient hydraulic operations. The swing system offers 360-degree rotation with a swing speed of 2.2 rpm, while the travel speed reaches up to 1.0 km/h, providing maneuverability and control on challenging terrain. The crane uses 26 mm diameter wire ropes on its main and auxiliary winches, with rated line pulls of 132 kN, and the boom hoist features external ratchet locks and robust spring-set hydraulically released multiple-disc brakes for safe load handling.
The lower structure of the CKS2500 features steel-welded carbody with extendable crawlers, equipped with 1,220 mm wide shoes and sealed track rollers for reduced maintenance. Each crawler is powered by independent hydraulic drives with integrated parking brakes and supports both skid and counter-rotating steering, delivering excellent maneuverability on site with a maximum gradeability of 30%. The upper structure includes a torsion-free precision-machined frame and a spacious operator cab fitted with air conditioning, safety glass, high-backed adjustable seat, ergonomic controls, and wide visibility windows for comfortable and precise operations.
For added lifting stability, the crane includes up to 90.4 tons of counterweight and supports self-removal devices for counterweight and crawlers, enhancing transport efficiency and site assembly. With a maximum operating weight of 217 tons and ground pressure of 110 kPa, the Kobelco CKS2500 balances massive lifting power with stable ground performance, making it a versatile choice for bridge building, wind farm erection, plant construction, and other heavy-duty applications requiring both strength and reliability.
