Sany SCC1000A-5

The Sany SCC1000A-5 is a versatile crawler crane designed for heavy-duty lifting with a maximum rated capacity of 100 tons. It features a boom that extends from 13 meters up to 64 meters, allowing the crane to handle a variety of lifting applications. The boom luffing angle ranges from 0 to 80 degrees, enhancing flexibility in positioning loads. For extended reach, the crane is equipped with a jib that spans from 9 to 18 meters, making the total reach up to 82 meters (64 + 18 meters). The jib can be adjusted to angles of 15 or 30 degrees.

Powered by an Isuzu 6HK1 engine, the SCC1000A-5 delivers a rated power of 212 kW at 2,000 rpm. This engine ensures reliable performance, even in demanding job site conditions. The crane’s main and auxiliary winches operate at variable speeds up to 130 meters per minute, while the boom hoist winch can reach 70 meters per minute. Its swing speed is adjustable up to 2.5 rpm, allowing for precise load placement.

The SCC1000A-5 is built for mobility and can travel at speeds up to 1.5 km/h. Its transport weight, including the crawler frames and boom base, is 43.3 tons, while the crane without the crawler frame weighs 22.8 tons. The crane’s rear counterweight is 33 tons, with an additional 5.5-ton carbody counterweight to ensure stability during operations.

The crane is designed with a wire rope system featuring a main hoist rope of 26 mm diameter and 240 meters in length, and an auxiliary hoist rope of 26 mm diameter and 180 meters in length. The single-line pull for both hoists is rated at 12 tons, providing strong lifting capability.

The dimensions of the crane, including the crawler frames and boom base, are approximately 13,300 x 3,490 x 3,460 mm, allowing for easy transport and assembly on various job sites. With an average ground pressure of 0.092 MPa and a gradeability of 30%, the SCC1000A-5 is suitable for operation on uneven terrain and slopes.
