The Sany SCC1000A-6 is a 100-ton crawler crane, equipped with a boom that extends from 13 to 64 meters and powered by a Weichai WP7 engine rated at 199 kW. It provides flexible lifting options, including a jib extension for a maximum combined reach of 82 meters. It is the successor model to SCC1000A-5.

The Sany SCC1000A-6 crawler crane is designed to handle heavy lifting tasks with a maximum rated capacity of 100 tons. The crane’s boom ranges from 13 to 64 meters in length, accommodating a variety of lifting applications. Its boom luffing angle can be adjusted from 0 to 80 degrees, enabling versatile operation in different site conditions. The crane is also equipped with a jib ranging from 9 to 18 meters, allowing a total reach of up to 82 meters (64 + 18 meters). The jib can be positioned at angles of 15 or 30 degrees.

This model is powered by a Weichai WP7 engine, delivering 199 kW of power at 2,300 rpm. The crane features efficient hoisting capabilities, with the main and auxiliary winch speeds reaching up to 130 meters per minute, and the boom hoist winch operating up to 70 meters per minute. The crane’s swing speed is variable up to 2.5 rpm, providing precise maneuverability for accurate load placement.

The SCC1000A-6 supports travel speeds of up to 1.5 km/h, making it suitable for navigating job sites. The overall transport weight, including the crawler frames and boom base, is 43.3 tons, while the crane itself weighs 22.8 tons without the crawler frame. It comes equipped with a 33-ton rear counterweight and a 5.5-ton carbody counterweight, ensuring stability during lifting operations.

The crane’s wire rope system features a main hoist rope with a diameter of 26 mm and a length of 240 meters, along with an auxiliary hoist rope of the same diameter but with a length of 180 meters. Both hoists provide a rated single-line pull of 12 tons.

The SCC1000A-6’s dimensions, including crawler frames and boom base, measure approximately 13,300 x 3,490 x 3,460 mm, allowing for convenient transport. The crane’s average ground pressure is 0.092 MPa, and it is capable of navigating slopes with a 30% gradeability.
