Product Description

The SANY SCC1500A-5 is a high-capacity 150-ton crawler crane built with advanced engineering and transport-friendly modularization. As part of SANY’s fifth-generation crawler crane line, this model offers exceptional lifting reach, stable ground mobility, and precise control—well-suited for projects in civil infrastructure, wind power, petrochemical construction, and heavy industry.

The crane’s main boom spans from 15.2 meters to 76.2 meters, using high-tensile lattice sections that ensure strength without sacrificing flexibility. A fixed jib ranging from 12 to 24.2 meters can be installed for extended working height or offset lifts. When configured with the full boom and jib, the SCC1500A-5 achieves a maximum working height of 85.2 meters and a maximum working radius of 62 meters, giving it the reach required for mid- to high-rise construction tasks.

Its rated lifting capacity is 150 tons at 4.6 meters radius, with a maximum lifting moment of 850 t·m, supporting a wide range of mid-heavy lifting applications. The crane’s power system is driven by a Cummins QSL9 diesel engine, a turbocharged, water-cooled, Tier 3-compliant engine that produces 242 kW (325 hp) at 2100 rpm. This engine is optimized for fuel efficiency, reliability, and support across global markets.

Hydraulically, the crane features a load-sensing system that adjusts output based on operational demand. The main and auxiliary winches both provide maximum line speeds of 120 m/min, using high-capacity rope drums to support long hoists at height. Slewing is powered by dual motors, enabling a maximum slewing speed of 2.0 rpm, while maintaining smooth and controlled movement even under significant load.

The undercarriage consists of dual crawler tracks with 1000 mm-wide track shoes, offering low ground pressure and a maximum travel speed of 1.3 km/h. The machine has a 30% gradeability, allowing it to navigate moderate slopes and job sites with varying terrain. Its compact and balanced track frame provides high stability during lifting and while moving unloaded.

One of the standout design elements of the SCC1500A-5 is its efficient transportability. The crane is designed so that the heaviest single transport component does not exceed 45 tons, which allows for compliance with common road transport limits and reduces logistics costs. Assembly is supported by hydraulic self-erecting systems, reducing reliance on support cranes.

The operator cab offers a climate-controlled environment with wide-angle visibility, vibration-dampened seating, and a user-friendly digital control interface. Safety features include a Load Moment Indicator (LMI), anti-two-block system, emergency stop controls, swing and hoist limiters, and real-time diagnostics, all integrated into the control system to ensure safe and informed operations.

In conclusion, the SANY SCC1500A-5 offers a powerful yet efficient solution for 150-ton class lifting needs. Its long boom reach, versatile jib options, modern hydraulics, and transport-friendly modularity make it a dependable workhorse for mid-scale lifting operations across construction, energy, and infrastructure projects.
