Product Description
The SCC8000A-2 crawler crane by SANY represents one of the most powerful and technologically advanced lifting solutions in the 800-ton category. Designed with flexibility and heavy-duty performance in mind, it combines exceptional lifting capacity with extensive boom configuration options. This machine is powered by a Cummins QSX15-C600 diesel engine that delivers 447 kW at 1800 rpm, complying with both European Stage III and China Non-Road Stage III emission standards, and features a 1000-liter fuel tank for extended operation.
The crane features a variable hydraulic system with multiple closed-circuit piston pumps and high-capacity gear pumps, enabling precise control across all movement axes. The main hoist system is equipped with dual winches (W1-1 and W1-2), each capable of line speeds up to 130 m/min with a single-line pull of 17.1 tons. The secondary hoist mirrors this capability. Boom hoisting systems—both standard and superlift—offer speeds up to 125 m/min, with each winch handling 800 to 1150 meters of 28 mm wire rope.
Main boom lengths range from 24 to 90 meters without superlift and up to 102 meters with superlift. For specialized applications such as wind turbine installation, configurations can extend to 165 meters using a hybrid boom and luffing jib combination. The luffing jib itself is 13.5 meters, and the fixed jib options include 12 and 13 meters. The boom can be angled between 30° and 85°, with a maximum slewing speed of 1.0 rpm.
Mobility is ensured via independently driven crawler tracks that provide a maximum travel speed of 1.0 km/h and a gradeability of 15%. The undercarriage design includes wide, high-strength track shoes and hydraulic tensioning for robust stability.
With a total working weight of 540 tons—including main and superlift counterweights totaling 660 tons—the SCC8000A-2 is engineered for stability and precision under the most demanding loads. The maximum single component transport weight is 45 tons, making logistics and assembly manageable for its class.
Safety systems are comprehensive, including an advanced load moment limiter, anti-overhoist and anti-unwind systems, boom angle limiters, and a real-time camera monitoring system with video recording capabilities. Optional features include remote operation, wireless monitoring, and automated diagnostics, all displayed through a 10.4-inch touchscreen interface in an ergonomically designed, air-conditioned operator’s cab.
