Product Description
The XCMG QUY650 is a formidable entry in the large crawler crane category, boasting a maximum lifting capacity of 650 tonnes under standard working conditions. Designed for heavy-duty applications, this hydraulic crawler crane features a modular boom system that allows impressive flexibility and reach. In its heaviest configuration, the boom system can be extended to a staggering 138 meters (90-meter main boom plus 48-meter luffing jib), which places it among the most capable cranes in its class.
The maximum rated lifting moment of the QUY650 reaches 7,840 tonne-meters, highlighting its engineering strength and structural robustness. The boom options include a heavy-duty boom from 24 to 84 meters and a light-duty boom from 66 to 102 meters, with additional configurations incorporating tower booms, fixed jibs, and special-purpose jibs. This range of setups allows the crane to adapt to diverse operational requirements, including petrochemical plant construction, wind turbine installation, and large-scale bridge or nuclear projects.
Operationally, the crane supports a luffing angle range from -3° to 85°, and it can hoist at speeds up to 130 m/min with the main winch (sixth layer) and dual 258 m/min for maximum luffing and tower boom mechanisms. Its slewing system provides stable 360° rotation at 0.65 rpm. The crane travels at a maximum speed of 1 km/h, suitable for repositioning on job sites, and has a climbing capacity of 30%.
The machine weighs approximately 530 tonnes in working condition with full counterweight configuration (24 blocks). The engine delivers 494 kW of power, supporting hydraulic systems for hoisting, slewing, and travel. Transport dimensions for the main machine, with the largest boom section removed, are 12.6 × 3.4 × 3.4 meters, allowing for manageable disassembly and mobility between sites.
The XCMG QUY650 is tailored for critical heavy-lifting tasks in challenging environments where reliability, strength, and operational efficiency are paramount.
