Product Description

The Kato NK-300 truck crane is designed to meet the demands of modern construction with strength, efficiency, and operator convenience. It features a four-section fully hydraulic boom that extends from 10 meters up to 31 meters, giving it ample range for mid-capacity hoisting work. Additionally, a two-stage fly jib ranging from 8.45 to 13.5 meters can be fitted to increase the working radius and lifting height. The boom elevates from -3° to 80°, and the boom telescoping speed is 0.3 meters per second.

Both main and auxiliary winches provide high and low rope speeds, with maximum speeds reaching 74 m/min, and hoisting hook speeds up to 9.2 m/min. The hydraulic system includes a three-section gear-type oil pump, with radial piston motors and a 3-position, 4-way double-acting control valve. This ensures powerful and precise operation across all boom movements.

The superstructure is built on a Mitsubishi K302 carrier chassis with an 8×4 drive configuration. It is powered by the Mitsubishi 8DC20A engine, producing 265 PS at 2500 rpm and a torque of 89 kgf·m at 1200 rpm. The gross weight of the crane is approximately 31,800 kg, with a maximum road speed of 67 km/h and a turning radius of 11.5 meters. The crane uses 11.00-20-14PR tires on all axles and operates with a dry single disc clutch and synchromesh transmission.

Operator comfort and safety are strongly emphasized. The cab features full glass coverage for improved visibility and includes a reclining seat to reduce operator fatigue. The crane is also equipped with safety systems such as a load moment indicator (ASLI), hydraulic safety valves, and a planetary slewing mechanism equipped with a disc brake for controlled slewing at 2.5 rpm.

Built for stability, the NK-300’s H-type outriggers offer a wide stance and adjustable positioning, making it suitable for work on uneven or restricted job sites. It uses 6 x Fi (29) I.W.R.C. wire rope on both winches, and optional accessories include automatic safety cut-off devices and a weight indicator system.
