Key Features & Benefits
The Sany STC250 truck crane is a well-rounded 25-ton capacity crane, engineered for productivity and safety across various work environments. It features a four-section U-shaped main boom with a fully extended length of 33.5 meters, supplemented by an 8-meter jib. The configuration offers a maximum lifting height of 42 meters, making it capable of handling general construction, utility, and infrastructure lifting needs.
The crane is built on a 6×4 truck chassis, driven by a 213 kW (340 hp) six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that conforms to Euro III emission standards. The engine delivers a maximum torque of 1050 Nm at 1200–1400 rpm, providing strong pulling power and climbing ability with maximum gradeability rated at 38%. It can reach travel speeds up to 80 km/h, ensuring quick deployment to job sites.
Its transmission system includes a 9-speed manual gearbox with a wide speed ratio range, while the H-type hydraulically operated outriggers span 5.3 × 6.2 meters, ensuring operational stability. The superstructure uses a 3.8-ton counterweight, and the boom angle ranges from -2° to 80°, enhancing flexibility during lifting operations.
Both main and auxiliary winches utilize variable plunger motors, enabling efficient switching between low-load high-speed and high-load low-speed lifting modes. The maximum rope speed exceeds 120 m/min, while the slewing system offers smooth 360° continuous rotation at up to 2.0 rpm.
Control systems include SANY’s SYMC intelligent load moment limiter, a digital CAN-bus monitoring system providing real-time feedback on boom position, load weight, and crane status. Safety features are robust, with height limiters, over-rolling protections, hydraulic locks, and real-time sensors monitoring length, angle, and pressure across the crane.
The cab is designed for operator comfort with panoramic visibility, full-coverage interior softening, a sunroof, and integrated air conditioning. The user interface includes a touchscreen console that merges operational monitoring with lifting parameters for safe and intuitive control.
In sum, the Sany STC250 combines efficient hydraulic performance, robust structure, and intelligent controls in a compact and agile form factor, making it ideal for small to medium-scale lifting tasks in diverse environments.
