Product Description

The Tadano TG-600M-4 is a hydraulic truck crane with a lifting capacity of 60,000 kg (at 3.5 m radius with a 12-part line). This machine is configured with a five-section power telescoping boom that spans from 11.0 m to 42.0 m, offering versatile lifting capabilities across different working radii. It is complemented by a triple offset jib (5°, 25°, 45°) extending up to 20.2 m, which enables a maximum jib height of 61.0 m. For heavy-duty work, optional configurations allow for extended boom and jib combinations.

The boom system employs three double-acting hydraulic cylinders for extension and a wire rope-type telescoping device to manage the multi-stage operation effectively. Boom elevation is controlled by two hydraulic cylinders, allowing a working angle range from -2° to 83°, taking approximately 67 seconds for full elevation. The swing mechanism allows for 360° continuous rotation at 1.9 rpm using a hydraulic motor with planetary reduction and a swing free/lock changeover feature.

The crane’s main and auxiliary winches are powered by hydraulic motors with helical gear reducers and include free-fall devices. With high-speed operation of up to 98 m/min, the main winch (12-part line) delivers smooth and efficient lifting. Rope capacities accommodate a 20 mm × 195 m main winch and an 18 mm × 140 m auxiliary winch using spin-resistant wire ropes.

Carrier-wise, the TG-600M-4 is supported by either a Mitsubishi or Nissan diesel engine. The Mitsubishi engine (Model BDC10) produces 335 PS at 2,200 rpm with 120 kg·m torque, while the Nissan RF8 engine generates 340 PS at 2,200 rpm. Both engines are paired with transmissions offering multiple speed ranges (10 forward, 2 reverse for Mitsubishi; 7 forward, 1 reverse for Nissan) and allow the truck to travel at a maximum of 70 km/h. With a 43,340–43,550 kg GVW depending on carrier choice, the crane maintains good roadability and jobsite maneuverability.

The full hydraulic H-type outrigger system provides a maximum extension width of 7.3 m, and the crane has a front hydraulic jack. The braking system includes full air service brakes and mechanically operated parking and auxiliary brakes. The crane’s control and safety systems include an automatic moment limiter (AML) with load monitoring, hook safety latches, cable followers, and indicators for boom angle and drum rotation.

A range of standard equipment includes a cab heater, radio, oil cooler, and boom angle indicator, while an optional package is available for heavy-duty work. With its combination of power, precision, and flexible configurations, the Tadano TG-600M-4 stands as a dependable solution in the 60-ton class hydraulic truck crane segment.
